Are they getting the start for the club championship?

At this point probably.....i have had 2 long range sessions and a 9-hole .....i love them.

Hit them higher than my Sub70 and straighter than my PXG blades.

They look very similar at address to my 0317ST just a bit thicker topline and straighter ballflight

So it's not a bad transition

Nice review. How would you rate the feel?

Is there an iron that you think compares the most to the t100?

Thanks.

Feel is very good, very smooth and the right amount of clickiness without feeling hard.

T100 is probably closer to a blade topline. They are smaller than my 0317ST which is considered a blade though on the larger side for that. T100 you are really in blade or micro cavity

P7MC maybe would be a good comp.

Checks from Bob stopped coming in huh? 😜

Nice to hear good things though. I'm not a Titleist guy myself, but I like hearing about tech moving forward. Sounds like they're good clubs.

Only hit the 4i in the 150, saw some really solid ball speed numbers. For me, really cut through the turf very nicely. (I struggle w/ turf interaction w thicker soles. zx7s t200 etc.) Currently play 0317 STs, but it’ll be a shootout come January Apex CB/MB, 7MC/MB and t150/100.

may the best iron win!

I would say a bit less soft than MCs, but better than P770s. I just hit all three side by side and the T150s are very nice.

MCs are legendary for their feel---but a bit smaller then T150.

For guys in T100 range probably more of a comp right?

I feel the T150 is a bit bigger club especially in longer irons

Glad they work for you MtlJeff, I really wanted to love the t100 or t150's but the sole isn't one that suits me and the feel was a little firmer/clicker than my own preference.

Can't argue with the fact that at address the Titleist are one of the best looking irons on the market, from MB to t150

Yes, a bit longer, but still sharp looking. I haven’t hit the T100, but I would assume the feel is similar to MCs.

For me, the test was whether 150s delivered a consistent ball flight with good feel and my conclusion was yes. I really like my MCs, but they can be penalizing on bad days. I suspect that T150s will be a better option for me eventually.

I got the full T-Series launch fitting, and almost pulled the trigger, but the didn't perform any better than my ZX7s. ZX7 turf interaction and feel was still better too.

T100/T150/T200 are all superb. If I was in them to begin with, I probably wouldn't switch to ZX7...

And I'm the complete opposite, love the way the zx7's feel but i can't stand the turf interaction. Being a little more shallow the t series just glides through the turf for me.

I originally hit the T100s and bought those to build after hitting them really well.

However, after hitting the ZX7 it performed just as well but hoping turf interaction is where they win out for me. So went that route.

Definitely feel you on the 770, I’m so sensitive with sole width. I mean the 7mbs and 770s for me flew the same and had the same ball speed 😵‍💫😵‍💫

Lots of great options out there. I'm 3.5 down with a 7i. I love the bounce grind. Wish Cleveland offered a 50 with the V-sole.

I have og zx7 and they are deadly accurate for me. I just get the occasional didnt reach the green by a few yards with them which i think is more on me but i cant ignore how damn on point the shots are with them. Im talking no more then 5 yards in either direction on great striking days and honestly most are closer... and no more the 10 yards left or right on horrendus strikes. I havent hit any that i was horrified by lol these 150 are intriguing but the soles seem just a touch thicker and squared then i like.

T150 is definitely an iron that takes a lot of good things from sets out on the market. Top line is nice, overall profile changes through the set visually, and the feel is good. I’d say they feel like a T100 but faster. I couldn’t get over how good the 4 iron felt in testing.

I’ve owned both the P7MC and P770 and these are almost a blend of the two plus the T100. This is why I gravitated toward this new model. I enjoyed most of what the P770 offered minus the feel. They felt too hot/clicky for me. I’d say the P770, Pro 223, and then these in order of pop off the face. I wouldn’t quite put these in the same category as they’re a bit more solid feeling to me than those sets.

The T150 is an iron of a new class it seems. It definitely blends a lot great qualities and Titleist made their own take with it. I think a lot of manufacturers will take notes on this one.

I sure wish I still had the talent to game the T-150 as they are sweet looking and will be the iron of choice for many. I too switched back over to Titleist after 10 years of playing Callaway PING, Cobra, Srixon, PXG, Mizuno irons to the new T-350's and these irons are the best fit for me super easy to hit with more forgiveness than Mother Teresa , well maybe not that much but they flat out perform in every category that I was looking for as as I'm getting older I could use all the help I can get and with them that's what I'm getting. I'm sure the T-150's are going to really push the sales for Titleist this year as they hit a Grand Slam this year with the T-Series

The P7MC is a bit more punishing on off-center strikes and it doesn’t get up as easy. The T150 doesn’t launch super high by any means but definitely launches higher than the MC. I’d take the T150 over them all day to get more benefits and still have great feel.

Hello all......

With a couple of weeks until my club championship i told my head pro to withhold delivery of my T150s until after labor day.....However like the jerk that he is , he told me of their arrival a couple of days ago, knowing full well i would not be able to resist.

After some course time and multiple range sessions....i am confident saying these are one of the best iron sets that has come out in a long time. They are in that sweet spot that will appeal to a countless amount of golfers.

A big issue with the T100 and T100S was the topline didn't change. The gap between T100 families and T200 was too big. The T100 family was a very thin topline, even smaller than my PXG blades to be honest. And then the T200 was kind of a different club alltogether

The T150 is kinda like a perfect club

-It's not THAT small.....You can see the trail end even on the 5 and 6 irons. And the topline is very manageable, i would think even 7-12 index types would have no issues with this

-That being said, it's one of the cleanest , most beautiful looking clubheads on the market even despite being a "smaller-midsize" head

-It's strong lofted but the launch is very nice, pretty high. For such a sexy cavity there's some junk down there. This is like a J-Lo club if you know what i mean

-The sole is very midrange....it's probably 1.5x the size of my PXG blades.

At the end of the day---To me it's the perfect club for anyone in the <12 range. It's a relatively generous sole, topline and blade length that is small but not like crazy small (think like smaller than ZX7 but not so much so) and it's beautiful to look at in the bag

I think this set is gonna absolutely crush it. I think this is one we'll be talking about in 10 years.

Anyway that's my .02---ask me questions if you want!

It seems that most people pick up 5 yards of carry but give away 500rpms of spin.

To me, it seems like the spin could be more important in an iron when we talk about playing real golf from shots out of the rough to shot-making, etc.

What are you thoughts on the T100 vs T150 from a practical perspective? It seems to me the 150 is sort of a 100 that's been optimized on a launch monitor.

Will the 150 prove a real winner, you think? Everybody that talks it up really just highlights the distance which (as I'm sure you can understand) makes me a bit concerned.

I played a full 18 today with no wind, and i would say these are a 1/2 club longer than my Sub70s which are also fairly strong lofted.

I hit 9 iron twice from 150 out which i can't do with any other set. Hit PW to 140 pin and the T150 is only 1 degree stronger than my 659CB. These are a good 7-8yds longer than a comfortable swing with my last set. These are long clubs. I hit a 5 iron pin high to a pin at 201.

I like my SUB70s because i hit them straight. The Titleist i have more of a natural draw, but a bit less than the 0317.

I like them a lot so far. I shot 71 today my first full round with them. So they weren't awful

Can you estimate how much more distance you would expect out of a T150 versus say, a T100, particularly in the short/mid irons?

For me it was just a couple of yards. My carry with the T100 7 iron was 172 and with the T150 maybe 175-76. Not nearly enough to really worry me about have me to do a big gap session, but I still might just to get my averages down and adjust any lofts we may need to.

Pretty well said, I was just fit into a combo of T150 and T100. I have the MC’s now and they are definitely more punishing in the long irons and they don’t launch as high. I couldn’t tell a ton of difference between T100 and T150 in feel and that surprised me. I would go all T150 but T100 was giving better descent angles and a bit more spin.

How’s the center of gravity in the short irons vs your old cobra forged tecs?  Lower or higher sweet spot?

It's hard to say, i had Modus 130s in the Cobra Tecs and i have PX LZs in the T150s. I also rarely checked my launch angles on trackman for anything higher than 8 iron.

I will say i feel as though they launch high however. That obviously has a decent amount to do with shaft. But so far that's been my biggest shock with these

They are not hard to play at all. They have a noticeably bulkier look than even my 659s. They come out with a lot of power , i feel the difference even in my hands , like you crushed it when you hit it well....and they come out high.

It's like someone pointed out, they launch like players distance but feel like forged players clubs
