Titleist T150s are gonna be all-timers

Yeah, I think these are the first set of irons I said I would keep for at least 10 years. I might get other sets, but these won't leave.

Tick all the boxes for me. Looks, feel, size, etc.

Got mine in this week. Really liking them so far... I had original T100 and they were maybe a touch smaller and softer, but it's not something I really notice too much.

I find that the ball seems to curve a little less compared to my i230 which I actually like because I prefer hitting the ball without tons of curve. Small fades and draws are stock, whereas my i230 seemed to naturally curve the ball more for me. Could have been shaft, hard to say.

Very interesting comments - appreciated

what shaft was in the i230 then?

I notice the same with the i230 to be honest...in cobra king tours now...have a 150/200 set being built as well

notice the cobra curve less than i230 as well...

Oban ct125x in i230, modus 120x in t150. I've actually been fit into both shafts so either works for me. I feel that the modus is easier to swing smooth and maybe spins a little more.

Not had a chance to hit the 150s yet but have just had a good look in the local golf club emporium - have to say they're a very nice looking set of clubs. Top line is probably a bit too thick for my eye but if I was on holiday and a set turned up as rentals I'm sure I'd thoroughly enjoy them.

I'd still go 620 MB personally from the Titleist range, but fair play to them on this cycle for the T Series - they are some fantastic looking irons.

The Dee Three - Titleist TS4 9.5 deg, EvenFlow White 6.5 65g, A1 Setting

Henrik - Titleist 917 F3 15 deg, Rogue Max 75x, B2 Setting

The Walking Stick - Titleist 818 H2 19 deg, Rogue Max 85x, B2 Setting

The Interloper - TaylorMade P770 3 iron, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5inch +1 deg loft

The Blades - Nike VR Pro 4 - AW, S400 Tour Issue, +0.5 inch

The Sand Iron - TaylorMade MG2 TW-12 Grind, 56 degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Flopper - TaylorMade MG2 TW-11 Grind, 60 Degree, S400 Tour Issue

The Putter - Nike Method 003 from The Oven

I originally hit the T100s and bought those to build after hitting them really well.

However, after hitting the ZX7 it performed just as well but hoping turf interaction is where they win out for me. So went that route.

I played the ZX7 mkii this year and they were largely okay but I found the turf interaction with the Titleist better for me so I ordered them in a combo set. I come in to the ball on the shallow side and I found the tour v soles worked well for me out of light rough but didn’t do much favours on tight lies unless I got really steep.

When I first read this thread, I thought it might by hyperbole, but the T150’s are that good. I was incredibly impressed when I tried them today.

First round with them today.  Awesome.  VERY similar to T100s I've been playing for 3-4 years.  Seemed a bit longer.  Looks good. Feels better than T100s softer for sure.

100000x better than the T200s (Bought a new set I was fitted for traded them in after 5 rounds)

I've said it before but I'm half a club longer at least with the T150 than I was with Sub70s 659. And they are basically the same loft. Shafts are not same but similar mid launch profile.

I hit 6 iron twice on Saturday to 194 and 197 level ground. I never did that with the 659s. It's just a very impressive launch, especially combined with the feel and look of a players club

they launch pretty effortlessly as well.  Hit the middle of the club and watch it fly.

Got mine, played one round, promptly cracked a rib shortly thereafter. Finally managed to get out again and hit balls the past few days...even better than I remembered them after just one round. So so happy that I have moved on my from original T100. With the benefit of hindsight, I was not good enough for them. The extra help and extra pop from the T150 has got me super excited for an autumn and winter of practice.

Those that have t150s did you get the 3 iron or go more forgiving with the t200 3 iron? Thanks.

I go 4 to AW ---The 4 iron is 21-22 degrees so i didn't really want a 3 iron and instead use a hybrid

Really impressive reviews.  Could these be the irons that finally kick out my trusty Z745s?  I've had zero urge to upgrade despite these now being 10 years old (hard to imagine).

I truly have no complaints about the 745s.  But it does seem there might finally be a technological jump worth considering.

I always worry about low spin fliers with these type of irons, but from the reviews it seems these things launch higher, go further, and still maintain a ton of spin.  Could really be a unicorn

I think it comes down to this for me:  T150 are more forgiving than any AP2 in memory, and that always kept me from chasing the next model.

I get access to a trackman in November and will post spin numbers all winter. I don't have a ton right now.

I don't FEEL like they spin too much less than my PXGs or my SUB70. Maybe a bit less but it's offset by higher launch. But even then i have spun back 8 irons and 9 irons which i didn't even do with my 659s. It's possible spin is the same

Right now i feel like i'm hitting it further and giving up nothing. To be honest

Have to agree with this. Incredible to be stood over the ball and know that it is all but guaranteed that it is going to fly the necessary distance almost regardless of the quality of the strike.

Just recieved my T-150 4-pw woth PX LZ 6.5 shafts and they look incredible. So here are my opinions as ive played Srixons for the last 10 years. The topline is waaay slimmer than my ZX7 and the t-150 sole is definitely narrower by a good margin also. The offest is a wash but the ZX7 have a longer blade length. The t-150 look to have less offset compared to my ZX7 but thats just me everyone sees different things. Titleist did there homework and have created a very classic set of irons packed with plenty of forgiveness well done Titleist!!!

As a Srixon player the last 10 years myself, would love to hear your insights and comparison to the T-150s once you've had them in play for a bit!

These are probably (I had thought) slightly aspirational for me, but I hit some in a bay today and was striping them. I currently have both Apex 19 and 223Pro, but am now pondering.

What were your thoughts on these against the 223's?  I'm pondering as well.

I didn't hit them side by side, and my last few outings with the 223s I've had a swing issue that I since sorted out, so it's been a while since I pured a 223.  I suspect 223 has a little longer blade which, though I hit the center a lot, I like, and their feel is the best of any iron I have owned.

But, I will take in both of my 7i's 223 & Apex19 next time I go hit the 150's.

BTW, I'm running a G430Max as well, holy fairway finder!  Still trying to see if I can find a few more yards with a shaft.
