Does anyone regularly hit the T150 3/4 long irons? How is the forgiveness and length?

Wondering if its better to go up to T200 utility or stick to the T150 if they aren't too different.

I have the T150 in the 4-iron and love it. I just re-shafted it with an Axiom 105x (the rest of my shafts are X100 soft stepped). It feels pretty light, but swing weights the same as the other irons in the set.

It's a great club and the feel is excellent. I really dislike the feel of the T200 (all versions), tbh. And from all of the head-to-head testing I have seen online, there is almost no difference -- loft-for-loft -- in the results between T150 and T200.

I would definitely test both. I was leaning so hard into a T200 5-iron before my fitting, but it went insanely far and also felt rock hard off the face. Ended up with a T150 5-iron instead, which still had to be bent weak to gap properly, but it feels so much better and is plenty forgiving still.

Got my first 9 holes in with the T150. They are going to be in the bag for a while! They are great so far. Conditions were wet and soft but first outdoor impressions are great. 5 iron was super easy to hit might pick up the 4iron also.
4iron slot has always been up for grabs. Continuously bouncing between 4 iron/ 5Hybrid / and 9wood. Might try either g430 or TSR2 5hybrid for an option for the bag this season.

Any suggestions for which hybrid?? Haven’t hit either yet

Ok I take it back it doesn’t feel like rocks when you hit the center. It feels like you hit a marshmallow lol it’s very nice actually. But any mishit feels quite hard still

Yes that’s what you would expect and want. Some feedback on your bad hits. I am truly impressed

I have the 4i. It's fantastic. Kinda surprised guys better than me hit the T200. I haven't hit the t200 vs t150 side by side though, but that makes me think I should.

They weren't 1 flat, but yes LZ 6.0.

I really want them to work out as I would like to sport an all Titleist bag.  It's really a matter of keeping my swing in shape.  I've been in a slump for months and was thinking it's time to get clunky GI clubs with graphite so I don't have to keep my swing tuned up.  But I got a great lesson the other day; a small tweak and hello middle of the clubface!  Where have you been?!  So I'm off the ledge of doom.

Just checking in as I've finally been able to get a couple of rounds in on mostly dry grass and no mud.  The T150s are quite nice; feel much better than PXG Gen 4 T's.  I used to play T100s, 18 months ago but gave them up needing slightly wider sole, and now here it is with T150.

Jury is still out on T200 5-iron; haven't hit it enough, but it feels/sounds much better than previous generation T200.

More to come...

If I order these 1/2” over does titleist bend the lie to match standard spec? Or, would I need to order 1 degree flat to compensate for the extra length?

They won't make any automatic adjustments to lie. You'll have to request it.

My T150s arrived last week. 48- 6 iron.

I'm coming from AP2s from like 2011 and these T150s are awesome. Look big at address and looks like you can miss hit it and still get it near the target.

Played my first round since the fall with them over the weekend. Didn't hit the center of the clubface all day but still had a lot of GIRS. Love the forgiveness.

My practice club is a 720MB so they might just look big to me since im so used to the MB - hitting it all winter.

For anyone that has ordered these 1/2 inch long or longer, was Titleist able to keep swingweight at or below D3?

Should be ok. In my experience, most Titleist standard irons without tip weights are around D0. The heads sit pretty light because it's a lot easier to add weight than to take it away.

My T150’s arrived at 10:05 for my 10:30 tee time.  I didn’t play great but that was more on the driver today.  I have a T200 4/5 iron and they’re really good.

The only odd thing is the 7I made a strange noise.  Very Tingy, Pingy, whatever you want to call it.  Had my pro hit it to verify.  Titleist has already sent a FedEx label so no big deal.

2 weeks from order to in my hands.  Just Project X LZ’s so nothing fancy.

Im still debating going t100 in the scoring irons 8-PW, someone talk me out of it? Or in to it!

have mixed set on the way and got a t200u 2 iron for windy days. T150 4 5 and t100 6-p.

When I was hitting 7 iron off grass during fitting, ball speed was around 127 for well struck shots, miss hit was 125 or t150 123 for t100.  T150s were also straighter.  I think if you want to shape ball more go t100, if you prefer more straight and consistent ball flight t150 is the ticket. 150s also slightly thicker top line but not by much vs t100 looks perfect imo

Almost went this route. Firstly, it creates some weird gapping in the bag. I just prefer consistent scaling vs a jump at 7 iron. Secondly, the t150s in 8-p are pretty much the same irons as t100. Muscle channels only exist for 7 iron down.

Imo there's no a ton of reason to split bag between 150 and 100 unless you prefer a slightly smaller head (honestly I had a hard time telling the difference)

Solving the gapping issues you create causes changes to the turf interactions and the face angle.  If you play on firm turf and want less bounce then go T100 in short irons and make them stronger to match.

Another option is to go T150 to the 9 then get a 44* and 48* Vokey or whatever whatever wedge you really like.

I did exactly this. Went with T100 in P-8, and T150 in 7-5. The T150s feels more explosive of the face to me, while the T100s is a bit more muted. I don’t know if the T150s are more forgiving or not. Hard to tell, with only hitting them on the sim.

I don’t know if I would have done anything differently if I would order them again. It could go either way honestly. My gapping is about 15m between each club. Which is big, but workable for me. So for me it’s just fun to have a combo.

I only have a few rounds in on T150, but also had T100S before and can also attest, a much better club.  The slightly wider sole gives it just a touch more forgiveness that really helps if you are a fraction off.  Playing yesterday in wet fairways, a touch of mud here and there, and I noticed after hitting an iron shot and thinking I was just a bit off, and then surprisingly, end up pin high.

And even though the toplines are a little bit thicker, it doesn't bother me, the T150s still setup well.  I'm also liking the versatility.  I don't have much problem bringing ball flight down.

Lastly, center contact feels/sounds better than T100s, which I found to be a bit clicky.
