Multi-tool for golf bag ideas?

I recently had need for some scissors in the course and again for a knife.  I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts or ideas on a multi tool (leatherman, Swiss gear, gerber, etc.).

Hard to beat a Leatherman Squirt PS4 when it comes to small but capable.

the slimmer Victorinox pocket knives can be handy.

if pliers etc are desired - Leatherman is really a good choice.

I’m leaning toward that but wanted to see if anyone had thoughts outside of that due to personal experience.

Re: SAK vs Leatherman - I've had plenty of times that I've used my SAK Classic and wished I had a small Leatherman, but I've never used my small Leatherman and thought that it was too big/heavy and I should have grabbed the SAK Classic.

If you are playing anywhere that has cacti, you will want something that has small pliers on it.  So helpful at removing them from your clothes or you.  I carry a small (mini) leatherman when I go hiking just for that.  Otherwise, I always have a small Swiss Army knife on me (knife, tweezers and scissors) at all times.

Knife - rarely used if ever, but come on every tool it seems.  Scissors I've used to trim band-aides or tape to the right size when you have to replace them mid-round, or cut off stupid labels on shirts or hats that get in the way.  Cut off a piece of skin after a blister or scrape becomes annoying.  Used them many times over and you can go months without needing them.  Nice to have when you do though.  The other thing I never go without are nail clippers.  I have brittle nails (nice genetics, dad) and rarely get thru a round without having to trim a broken or chipped fingernail.

Knife was to cut up some beef jerky to share and the scissors where for tape.

Couldn't imagine needing more than that on the golf course. Although I've had one in my bag for 3 years and never used it once.

I second this. I used to have a pocket knife or a larger Swiss arm knife that I would rotate through. I put one of these on my key chain and haven’t needed anything else since.

wouldn't just having a knife also served the same function as the scissors???

 

anyway, going forward stop walking around life without one. get the most elegant, lightweight, amazing everyday carry option that exists.... a Spyderco Para 3 "Lightweight"

I have a knife similar to that in the bag.  However, it is handy to have a small pair of scissors as opposed to a knife.

sure, if that's desired I could envision a Gerber "Dime" always being stored in the golf bag.
