I didn't get to talk with Billy cuz he was really grinding hard with his practice session but I will ask him tomorrow if I see him.

Turf conditions are perfect. Weather? Warm but wet until Saturday/Sunday. Wind not much of a factor. Terrific field this year. They should tear it up. Someone is likely to go very low (22+ under par).

The bottom of that putter looks amazing.

 

And black is definitely the way to go with the Ping wedges given the black line on the back.

I had the opportunity to go to Sea Island last week for a full slate of instruction/winter prep for the game. First time there. wow, what an absolute A+++++ facility. Incredibly excited to watch this weekend. Plantation greens were in such great shape. Hopefully the winds kick up.

I joked with his caddy about that and it actually was to cover up a hole that was torn in the bag

Caddy said the zipper broke on the pouch while they were in Bermuda and duct tape was all he could find to fix it/tape it shut

Those blackout Ping clubs look so good.  But I'm worried about buying a set of blackout clubs because of wear and flaking.
