Also, why's it so hard to turn down the edges of that adapter so the collar isn't so sharp? It basically needs a ferrule 😂

Just make it smooth. The best option would for it to look like it wasn’t even there..

Exactly. Just make it as minimal as possible so that it blends and almost disappears..

This with a taper at the base and the top to make the edges not as pronounced. It's not like it's a driver/iron where there's a lot of force so you can get away with going pretty thin i'd imagine.

make it taper the entire way down so there is no step transition, ive done this a few times with some steel shaft pieces and looks 100x better than this
