Hadn't really seen much LIV but I watched a little during the PGA rain delay.  Wow, it seems to be getting worse.   Does LIV not allow spectators or something?   Golf, but louder?  Louder than what?  Crickets?  There were more folks in the gallery during Covid.  Feherty seems to be heavily medicated or possibly lobotomized.  Totally phoning it in.  Some decent golf, but interest is tempered by the fact that these guys are just golfing their way toward eventual obscurity.  No chance of building a legacy on this tour.

You probably know this already but Saudi Arabia is probably not rife with people looking to get out to watch professional golfers.  They don't have a rich golfing history.

 

You ever flip on and watch when the DPWT is in UAE or Qatar or some place like that?  Not exactly throngs of fans either.

I watched it for about 10 - 15 minutes.  The crowds were small.  I have to believe that Rahm has moments, and not infrequently, where he thinks "What in the hell did I do?"  He stated recently that he missed playing in the Waste Management, probably because it's a hometown event and I think he feeds off the crowd (I recognize it was a s-show this year).  I bet he is counting the days til April 11th and will roll out of his Mercedes SUV pulling onto Magnolia Lane and kiss the ground.

IBM or Microsoft are 100x more of a public entity than PIF is.

To me, the term private enterprise or company refers to an entity not owned or controlled by a government. That private enterprise may be publicly traded, but it’s still a private company compared to a government owned or controlled entity.
