I’m already tired of this. Thread is no fun at all. See your own post. Fine by me to say you think it’s a lot of offset. All I did was say I didn’t mind it. I did not also troll you. I don’t know Bob Bettinardi, much less work for him. 
 

As for Couples, it is not like Bettinardi is a huge source of income or even his main sponsor. And he never says he’s going to put them in the bag. I think he is telling it like he sees it.

Hit the 7 iron today with an Axiom 105 S shaft.  It felt really good. Probably the best feeling head compared to the other heads I hit today (T200, t150, Srixon z forged blade, Miura KM-700, and a couple others).  To be honest, all of these heads felt great - slight differences. 
 

Performance is exactly what you would expect from this class of iron. Traditional lofts and consistent outcomes on well struck shots.  Not too punishing on mis-hits. 
 

I tend to like a little offset.  These visually did not stick out to me as odd when compared to the other heads I hit. 
 

I could easily see myself playing these.

Interesting you mention the Miura KM-700's as this is an iron I currently play. I have had the Bettinardi wedges in the past and have really enjoyed how they feel. I do have my eye on a set of the MB's as their is an online retailer that stocks them over here in Australia and quite often run a 20% sale.

I saw both these clubs to today in person.  Down at address they look like srixon irons (z forged and zx7). The offset in person is not. As bad as these pictures make them look to be.

It's sort of funny how in that video he has Fred couples hitting them, but couples isn't playing them. Is he playing them or not....wonder of its a violation of his contract with Bridgestone to be doing that? Anyways, play what you like. For the money, sub 70 and others are excellent for the money and the feel is about the same.

Did you hit the MB or CB?

 

Reviews are great so far for the CB, but I'm curious how the real-world forgiveness level is. Are they closer to say the Callaway Apex TCB or CB, or the more forgiving Apex Pro? Blueprint S or i230?

 

I know they're more forgiving than the blade, but how do they compare to other cavity backs?

 

I was fit to a set of MP20 mmc in 2019 (c taper lite x). They aren't as forgiving as I first thought (or I don't play enough anymore and they're too good for me). Will the CB24 be more forgiving than my mizunos?

 

Considering the i230 or apex pro, but think the cb24 looks better than both. Would love to find out they are forgiving enough

I hit the CB’s.  I don’t know if the fitter had the MB’s.  Forgiveness wise, they seemed to be right there with the i230’s.  This is what I currently play.  Only hit the 7 iron.  Not sure if the forgiveness translates to the longer irons.
