Does this look like 3.0mm of offset?

Would really appreciated opinions on this?  Does this look like 3.0 mm?  I know it’s tough to tell from a picture, but this doesn’t look right to me.

Offset or face progression? They are not the same thing, but commonly used interchangeably.

To measure offset, lay the club face down on a table with the grip hanging off the edge.  Lift the toe of the club until the leading edge is parallel to the table.  Measure the gap between table and leading edge.  That's the offset.

 

To my eye, that looks like more than 3mm.

Pointing out the obvious as well just in case. Many companies will list offset in inches while others will do it in mm and it can sometimes get conflated. It's stupid and annoying and should be standardized, but isn't. If I had to hazard a guess, I am going to say those are probably the New Level 902-OS. That expanded toe is a dead giveaway. NL, unfortunately, since their clubs are great, does not do offset very well, IMO.

WAY more than 3mm. Here's a pic of my J33 CB 3 iron which has 3mm offset per Bridgestone's site. Not even close.

Looks closer to 3” than 3mm.

Impressive.  It’s the New Level 480-DB.  I play a split set of their 623 CB and MB’s and absolutely love them.  Got this 4 iron in the mail on Tuesday and was shocked.  According to the website this iron head has just 0.2 mm more offset than the 623 CB.  Doesn’t make any sense to me.  I can’t see not hitting this thing left.

OP can you do a picture with the shaft straight up and down like the comparison pics that have been posted AND on a plain background rather than the wood grain?  I understand what some seem to see but I’ve got the feeling it’s somewhat of an illusion.

 

But then I’m often wrong.🙄

NO.  That iron looks almost closed.

 

The offset of my 620 MB 3i is .126, and the 620 CB 3i is .122; nothing like what's in that picture.  My custom MacGregor 1025M 3i is .100mm and 670 MB 3i is .120mm, and my new T100 3i I believe is .134

Yes....looks better.  I play a Maltby STi2 which is listed at .118, a hair under 3.0 mm and here is their pic cropped👇

Granted Maltby have a shorter hosel and that may factor in....sometimes it's harder to get the angle.of the pic to represent what it looks like at address.
