Shirts tucked or untucked when playing?

Always tucked. Unless I have a 1/4 zip on that will cover untucked.

I always start with shirt tucked but with my big body type it usually becomes untucked in the back after one swing. lol. Oh well fashion forward I am not.

Probably depends where you are playing. I enjoy both styles, casual fun golf a a public course where untucked is acceptable, and playing at an upscale course where dress codes are required. It feels good to dress the part and play golf at a private course.

I prefer to have mine tucked but it kinda depends on the place and the group. I just feel more prepared to play with my shirt tucked in. Untucked doesn't bother me though.

Since joining our CC my default has become tucked. (rule at our club) But, occasionally I'll go untucked on a public course.

I refuse to have my shirt untucked if I am wearing slacks...conversely I also refuse to tuck my shirt in if I am wearing shorts (it just doesn't look right to me for some reason!) Therefore I never play in shorts though I will sometimes practice in them...with my shirt untucked! But on course...I am in slacks with the shirt tucked always.

Both tucked and untucked are just fine depending on your own personal desires, where you play, and the rules that are required at a particular course. One way is not bad and the other good and vice-versa, it just depends on various circumstances.

I think this depends mostly on where you play. But I preferred trucked for sure. it's cleaner and sharper for most clothing.

Shout out this guy for starting a topic that still has steam 10 years later. I used to be an always-tucker but I also found that the flexibility of the no-tuck has its appeal. Now I just gauge the course

Tucked, definitely. Feel like it looks kind of sloppy with it un-tucked. Outside the golf course though, prefer to be un-tucked.
