I have been working on my full swing almost full time over the last year and have gradually learned how to keep myself out of trouble from the tee and to get close to the green in regulation. It is now time to concentrate on my short game and start making more of those up-and-down "senior pars". A good set of modern wedges will bring me the confidence I need to make those finesse shots on the course as I develop the skills in my practice regimen. In the pursuit of my goal to earn a single digit handicap this summer, good wedge play will be the key.

I think having a custom set of wedges would really help out my game. Currently my bag consists of 3 different manufactured wedges which really makes my short game inconsistant. I would love to have a couple of wedges that I could trust.

I'm a high school golfer. My dad bought me a set of 588 Cleveland Gun Metals wedges last year off e-bay. They are used, and after 2 seasons, I am really wearing these out. My number one goal in life right now is to beat my Dad - just once. I believe a custom set of wedges might just help me obtain my goal this summer. Oh how I would love to see the look on my Dad's face when I stick a sand wedge tight - then let him have of quick glance of my custom wedge....

I would like to raise awareness of a sickness known as clubconfidentitus. Symptoms include constantly buying new clubs when there is actually nothing wrong with the clubs we are playing. It appears to be a pshycological condition that causes the victim to believe he/she does not possess the proper equipment to take their game to it's fullest potential. The sickness can be magnified when the sufferer believes the advanced club fitting professionals have at their disposal is unobtainable. I have been recently diagnosed with this very disease. The only cure known is to somehow aquire top level equipment custom made by the finest craftsmen in the world . To recieve this gift would truly be life changing. I do believe in miracles. I do. :cry:

I took up the game last summer and love it. I got my first inexpensive 56 degree wedge and discovered the wonders of a real short game. It would be wonderful to be able to continue to grow my game with equiptment that was custom fit to me and my game. These wedges would be a fantastic addition to my game. PLUS.... I am a true lefty and I know that Mr. Cleveland really knows how to make wedges for (a) Lefty.

I love the wedges. It is nice to see that GolfWrx recognizes the master of wedges. I have played Cleveland Wedges 588 series and now play the vintage finish Callaway's in 58 56 and 50 bent to 48 wedges. Simply the best I have ever played. The stamping would make the wedges the best.

 

Personally, I have seen the same quality in tour van wedges and those available to the general public save each players subtle preferences. I would love to have the collector items of my own. That way my son won't keep borrowing mine. Not to mention I would like a little more bounce than what is on the market in the 58.

 

My wife left me for Vokey wedges as well. I won't miss her or the wedges at all.

I won't lie I want this opportunity because you get to have some clubs that you will NEVER get the opportunity to have! But since having a child, buying a house (this week) and losing my job (a first grade teacher), I can look back and consider this year wasn't a total loss!

Very simply---once in a lifetime experience with the greatest wedge design artist we have ever seen! Although the wedges would be truly incredible and a work of art...they will wear out eventually, but the knowledge I would take away from a day with Mr. Cleveland would last a lifetime.
