I live in SW Houston, but am able to and would like to play on Saturday April 30th with the WRX group at Willow Creek. So, add my name (John Hanley) to the list. It is about a 46 mile drive for me, probably just over an hour, so hopefully not too early in the morning. Sounds like fun. I do not have an official handicap, but usually score in the mid-80's.

I believe there is going to be a change in the date. Ping Rat has a conflict and he is the one who is getting us on at Willow Creek. Its either going to be 4/23 or 5/7.

FWIW, 5/7 works for me. 4/23 does not.

I would love to, but none of those 3 dates work for me. I have a family reunion on Easter weekend, have a tournament (or work, dont know yet) on 4/30, and my wife's birthday is 5/6 so I'd imagine I wont be golfing on 5/7. Perhaps we can try to set up another one some other time.

Ohhh....Completely slipped my mind that about Easter weekend. That weekend does not work for me either.

It looks like 5/7 may be the nearest date, i will be playing easter weekend, but that was all part of the pre nup

Thanks for your response! Will mark you down for 5/14. So far, thats looking like the date. Have almost half the responses so far and everyone has picked the 14th.

Im going to give it through this weekend before passing the info on to Ping Rat to settle the details at Willow Creek. Have received 12 responses with still 6 who havent responded. Of the 12, 8 are go for 5/14. Will wait until monday to give the others a fair chance to respond.

We will go with the numbers below and adjust if some else decides to join. Ping Rat will be making the final arrangements as far as tee time and if we can get a deal on the rate. He will also to try to get a couple additional Willow Creek members to play so that we can have someone familiar with the course in each group. Will continue to update the thread as we get additional information.

FWIW, I haven't played the course in over 2 years, but I was a member for 3 years, so I am somewhat familiar with the course.

Yea I'm in for a maybe as of the moment. I haven't played one round this year and really need to get out there... My handicap has probably ballooned upwards! I'm scared to see the damage, but am dying to get out and do some damage.
