Outstanding collection!! Love the Ben Crenshaws, and the black melonite blade. I have had about 5 of those misc putters in your collection over the years. I also had the BeCu, and passed it along. I also picked up a BeNi last year, and passed it along too (dumb move at times). Thanks for showing your classic pieces

I've got the Corey Pavin model. Such a great putter.

Well, if you're looking to complete the actual collection, you've still got a whole bunch of lefties that you'll need to add. Can't really tell, but it looks like you're also short a the Manganese Bronze Designed by. Stage1350's kind of an authority on these and would probably know which ones have the tour/large letter versions and any other variations. I'm a big fan of these blades. Have a few myself. Very nice collection. :good:

Nice collection.

I have the two on the far left of your photo.

One which has "DESIGNED BY Cleveleand" and one which reads "DESIGNED BY Cleveland Classic" on
the sole. I've attached a pic of the latter.

Does anyone know if these putters are stainless steel or carbon steel, and if carbon
steel are they chrome plated?

many thanks,

what does having it handed over by Roger Cleveland have to do with it?

Was the stock / original paint fill yellow? No. was the stock finish glossy? No, it was matte. Mine has never been used so maybe usage made the matte finish glossy? Not sure. Stock finish on this is a matte finish. Just looking at the photos of yours vs mine. picture comparison to follow. If it’s just a lighting / camera thing....which it could be. I don’t care either way. These are great putters.

He's not kidding. The originals had a Melonite finish, not a gun blue. The originals had mill marks everywhere. Yours is lapped smooth and the edges are radiused consistent with grinding/buffing. If you weigh yours, it will likely be below 310g, as the originals were closer to 320g due to weight loss. Plus, every Crenshaw Milled I have ever seen or owned has the same paintfill as golfingunderpar18's model.

It might have been handed over personally from Roger Cleveland, but it was refinished first.

I have had several Cleveland Designed by putters during my golf playing and golf collecting days.  I've had a couple OTR Cleveland Designed by putters, one Designed by Cleveland Classic (large letter, chrome), one Designed by Cleveland Classic (small letter-chrome), a couple Designed by Ben Crenshaw (chrome) in the past.  I have moved every one of those.  As of late I picked up two Cleveland Designed by putters.  One is a Designed by Cleveland Classic BeCu and the other is a raw Designed by Ben Crenshaw.  I used 150 grit sandpaper to apply a satin finish on the Designed by Ben Crenshaw raw and will let this putter develop a "patina".  The raw weight was 313g so I have also added about 16g of lead tape on the sole to get this putter around 330g.  I found an early 60s Head Speed shaft that has the original foil shaft label and installed it on the Designed by Ben Crenshaw raw.  The original shaft on the BeCu was cut down to 33" so I am going to replace that with another early 60s Head Speed shaft that I just obtained.  This shaft is near perfect and the shaft label is in excellent condition.  I will post pics when the BeCu is shafted and gripped.  I am still deciding on what grips to put on as I have a couple of leather wrap putter underlistings with leather wraps and grip collars or a GripmasterUSA pistol leather slip on.

I am, and probably always be, in the hunt for a Designed by Arnold Palmer that is in very good to excellent condition and a price I am willing to offer.  One of these days.

BeCu is hopefully going to be my next Designed by. Just picked up a Ben Crenshaw Milled today. Will upload some pics once it arrives. I would love to find a Never Compromise Robusto to add to the collection as well. As it was designed by Crenshaw and Cleveland in a limited release. Seems hard to find them since NC ceased, quite a shame.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
