I've noticed several people choosing the Taylormade r7 425 over the r7 460. Can anyone explain the reason for this? I was under the impression that the 460 has a larger sweetspot, and perhaps a bit more distance as well then a 425?

I've noticed several people choosing the Taylormade r7 425 over the r7 460. Can anyone explain the reason for this? I was under the impression that the 460 has a larger sweetspot, and perhaps a bit more distance as well then a 425?

 

The R7 425 TP to me is a bit longet than my R7 460 TP.

No doubt the R7 460 TP is a bit more forgiving, but the R7 425 Tp is plenty forgiving for me.

 

The R7 460 TP launches a bit higher than my R7 425 TP (both have the same loft of 9.5 degrees)

 

I like the R7 425 Tp best because of this - and also because of the 4 weight ports in the 425 as oppose to only 2 in the 460. But the R7 460 TP is also one heck of a great driver
