First Look: PING's new Premium Milled line of Ansers

I got my Anser 4 today fit from the iPING app. I rolled it pretty damn well on the practice green. The first putter I've had that looks perfect from address. Turns out I needed almost 4 degrees flat and it looks great.

I still use a 25 year old anser ping putter and can't see myself ever changing it. Ping putter change the game.

So important the golfer get their putters fitted correctly. Everyone love getting fitted for drivers but putting fitting is so important if you want to hole more putts.

I've had my 6 for a month. Still looks new, don't understand the marking up comment.

Same here. I've had mine since the day they were released, and it doesn't have a mark on it.

Ditto, played mine since Aug 12th for 13 rounds, some of the rounds were played on courses following aeration of the greens, no abnormal marks at this time.

I don't know if you've hit them both but the new Anser feels better than any of the (retail) studio selects out right now IMO. Both tremendous in their own right but I went into the store thinking that the scotty's were the smoothest until I tried the Anser milled.

I agree, Easily the softest sweetest feeling putter I have ever rolled. Still looking to pick one up, but the price tag scares me off!

just picked up an anser 6 milled on a trade in i did for a razr hawk. was gaming a 2010 bettinardi BB1 before but i love the feel of the ansers and the ping app was telling me i've got a very strong arc.

i'm not sure if i should go back and perhaps do a proper fitting (my location did not have the ping fitting putter on hand)...does anyone know if ping will adjust this one for free like they do their irons?

They do list the weights. They're all 345 grams aside from the 5 which is 355 grams.

The anser is a classic and it just got better. The mallet design is a little too much for me ( and I use a Scotty Cameron Futura) I think it has to many angular lines from the top view may distract from lining up the putter.

I've hit the Anser 2, 3, 5 and 6; can't wait to hit the 0 which would be my preference. Anyway, the previous posters are correct in that the feel of these putters is second to none in my opinion. So solid and well made. Love the grip too. Can't wait to get my own.

I like all of them, they look really great and Ping really stepped up their putter line....
only thing i do not like is that there are no traditional mallet putters in this line up....
