I was really looking forward to ordering some wedges and possibly a putter but $169.00 for a wedge and $300.00 for a putter, think I will pass. That is way too high! Not a smart move on Pings part pricing these so high. Both these will sell ok but if they were to put wedges around $109 and putters around $225 they would have flown off shelves.

Also available at Golfsmith just an FYI the 0 is not called the 0 it is simply called the Anser and the rest are all called the same (Anser 1, 2, 3 etc. Golfsmith has the all of the them available for preorder. Shipping is August 10th - yee haw!

I hate the black nickel finish on the Redwoods. In fact, I just bought a used Redwood Anser and had the black nickel stripped off. Now it looks like the Precision Milled line.

Called Ping this morning specs = 70* lie, 3* loft and 345 grams other than the Anser 5 which is 355 grams.

Is the offset different between the 4 and 6?
Looks like the 4 is a full shaft offset, and the 6 is a half shaft offset.

This line must be absolutely top-notch if O'Meara was willing to switch from his old-school Anser 2 to this new version the day before a major, and used it through the week to an eventual 2nd-place finish.

his was modified..... driled out and aluminium inserts to bring the head weight right down to 320 or somewhere near
..... can't remember where I read it but Google will be your friend....
