For all you ho's out there
Since I work & golf with a certain member of this forum who is a bonafide ho' :idhitit: I'm just wondering how many clubs do you guys/gals buy a week or even in a month. Does it stay in your bag for quite awhile, get put in your ever growing club collection or sold off to finance your future purchases?

I am a bit of a streak buyer, i usually get several items at once, most of the time its prerelease or harder to get items.

Example:

My last big purchase was: TP 460 R7 Tour, HFS R7 13* Tour and Satin Tour Y Cutters.

695 MB's Tour, 660 MB's, 905R Tour the time before

585H, 906F (2) another time.

I guess i am a binge buyer, i get the urge to buy and then i buy whatever i can find. I will buy the onesey twosey items as well but more of a bulk buyer, I am the Costco of club ho'ing i guess.

Maybe 1-2 clubs a year. Last year it was new wedges, year before that new irons, this year a new driver. Used the same putter for a decade. See 8-10 guys on tour using it and feel like I don't need an upgrade if they don't.

I wish I had your self control. Adding up the amount I've wasted buying equipment almost makes me cry.

I've been thru a ton of clubs this year trying to create my perfect bag (or at least close enough). While I would love to keep all the clubs I need to get rid of the old clubs to finance the new clubs (or my wife would cut off my.... you get the idea) Because of this, I have stayed with Callaway Products. They give you great values for trade-in trade-up and their buy and try policy at Callaway Golf Pre-Owned is great.

I have basically completely re-built my entire bag 3 times this year and finally have what I think is a winning combo so hopefully my ho'ing days are over.

Thanks,

Well I pretty much re did my bag this year before the season started(i know there old clubs but anyways). Since Late june when I bought my wedges I havent bought anything because my parents said I couldnt buy new clubs for the rest of the year. and I have to spend my money on getting ready for snowboarding so mines limited to early golf season..until I get a job:)

I tend to buy more stuff the less often I play. Weird. Since I can't get a golf fix on the course, I look online and of course find deals I just can't pass up.

It's very rare that I will have a club in the bag that just does not work for me- I'm hitting everything great except that one club.

After having my entire set pinched last year, I've only picked up two drivers, 3 fwy woods, one set of irons, and two wedges. The putters I've used were all old ones either in my closet or my pops' closet. Suprisingly, I thought there would be more . . . I've reshafted three times.

Maybe my ho days are almost done?

I am not a ho yet, but I am working on it!!! :D. I usually get 1 or 2 clubs a month. somethings things last for a while (r540 with stock shaft) so I don't replace it, so no need to buy clubs(and lack of money means no clubs) like my cleveland 588 chrome(to shiny) lasted a month and a half, I didn't like it so I got a spin milled, I like that alot so I will use it till the grooves are bad, then get whatever is new then. also sometimes I go to comit on one club and get another so I never know what I am going to get until it happens. I gave my month and a half old 588 to my friend who needed a gap wedge. he treated me to 2 or 3 rounds of golf so I had to pay him back.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem!!! Not only do I switch clubs often, but I'm always searching for the perfect shaft and head combo in my woods. The most bizarre thing is that I'm scratch and I know that I just need to dedicate more time to my short game and putting to score better. Where's the fun in that-

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
