Tybee Island...went there probably 18 years ago to move a friend into SCAD.

 

Will keep an eye out for it next time I'm in the area.

Tried the Founders Azacca and it was okay. Also had the Stone Americano, which I thought was good for a coffee stout, then I followed it up with a Founders Breakfast and it was not in the same ball park.

Burton Baton, bottled 12/2014 was much better fresh almost too sweet now with hop flavor changing to cardboard. Will not age again despite DFH putting on the label will age well.

 

Stone BBA Arogant Bastarx only 6 months old no real difference vs fresh.

Had the Green Flash Hand Shake IPA and it wasn't really my thing. Very rich hops flavor with sort of syrupy aftertaste. I'm sure it appeals to some though.

Drinking my last 2015 Ba Bigfoot. So much better with some of the hop bite mellowed out, another 6 months or a year and I bet it would be even better. I need to do a better job of cellaring but I enjoy drinking them too much haha

They are in Marengo, OH which is about 20 minutes north of CBus. Very small place. The beer is some of the best I've had. If they had a greater ability to distribute I think popularity would explode.

Kind of a joke that they didn't adhere to a case limit.

 

Had a buddy go up and everything sold out before he got in but there guys with 4-5 cases. He attempted to get some in the lot but the guys already sold it on CL before even leaving the premise. Dirty.

 

At the same time it sucks that places like TH limit us but then again it deters the degenerates from re-selling when you have to wait in line for a couple hours for a small take.

 

If it were me at the helm of these places I'd agree to buy up product from CL and MBC. I'd end up sending $0.05 thru PP just go get their names and post up a "Do Not Sell To" list.

I honestly didn't see anybody with more than one case. If that happened it was out the back door. I personally think one case is too much and leads to CL reselling. I bought 2 four packs and one bottle of the Skiddly Diddly Bop

Troegs is a personal favorite of mine/ mad elf is phenomenal. Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh is reatively Unknown. Stone's ruination 2.0 IPA is a really good ipa imo.
