Have you hit the i20's yet vs the i15's? Besides the looks is there really a huge gain in performance, honestly? Current i15 owner thinking about the i20's but not sure if it's worth it.

I hit them once at the shop but haven't had a chance to hit mine yet. I only played the i15's for a bit and they were an incorrect fit for me ( I was gonna send them to ping to adjust, then thought wth and ordered the 20's!) I am probably gonna play them for the first time on Sunday and I can't wait. I will definitely give my opinion and comparison afterwards! I have been an i10 user for 4 years now and am actually excited about getting rid of them.

Did anyone order them with the Cushin' inserts? My fitter mentioned that it would feel softer and more like graphite. But, I wanted to go away from that feeling since I was dumping my G-15's with graphite shafts.

Thinking about purchasing these irons really how good are these irons with the CFS or KBS shafts. What is the ball flight with both shafts. Are you finding that you get more distance with these irons than others ?????

The CFS shafts are very good. Most people I have seen have gotten superior #'s and performance from the CFS shafts when comparing to the Dynamic Golds. I can't speak much on the KBS shafts. The only KBS shaft I would put into the i20's instead of the CFS would be the C-Tapers. The Dynamic Gold shafts gave me the best, consistent performance but the CFS shafts were RIGHT THERE with them. If I wasn't so comfortable with S300's, I would have definitely went with the CFS shafts.

In terms of distance, I can only speak for myself. I'm coming from a MB and I've picked up an outrageous amount of distance, without sacrificing any accuracy/consistency. We all know that the lofts are a degree strong compared to my previous set, but the combination of stronger loft and the design of the club head has given me almost 15-20 yards per club.

For example: I was hitting 9 iron 140-145 and I was hitting 9 iron with 0 effort a good 155-160. It is pretty impressive...

My new babies are finally home! 4-UW yellow dot with KBS tour stiff and a 54 rustique, all with lamkin performance plus 3gen grips (my personal faves!)

Will also be picking up another 58 degree wedge soon to replace my current 58 vokey. Not sure if I'm going to go rustique or anser (it'll be with DG spinner either way), or another brand entirely.

Each time I look at these clubs I like 'em better and better. Plus, it helps that the topline is almost identical to the taylormade rac lt (2003 model) irons their replacing.

Even better, it's supposed to be in the 50's and sunny tomorrow, so I actually may get to play a round with them!

Been there!

I'm really impressed with how quick Ping (and my shop, of course) got me these. I was measured last Saturday (2/18) and my clubs were delivered to the shop by Friday evening.Specs were verified to be spot on, and this was with a non-standard lie and a non-standard shaft, no less! I would be curious how much extra time getting a grind would add to the order.

Finally had a chance to play 18 with mine (4-LW D2 CFS stiff orange dot) yesterday and am very impressed!! Previous set was Adams CB2's which I liked a lot and still have as a back up set. Adams may feels "softer" when pured but the I20's are pretty dam close, more often!! I20's are more forgiving also especially the 4 & 5 iron....very easy to hit high and straight, plus the toe weight helps my usual miss! Haven't hit the LW except in the back yard but the SW was very nice on full shots as well as bunkers!! Now I just need to figure out how to get the driver without the wife having a stroke!!!

Got a chance to finally hit them today and was quite pleased. My favorite club of the bit was the HYBRID. The i20 hybrid may be the best thing to hit the market.

Anyone order the irons with PX flighted? If so, what were your thoughts? I hit them with CFS today and was impressed but the feel was a tad too light for me. They felt good and performed well but I didn't care for the weight.

Ordered a 20 degree hybrid with PX 6.0 and 4-UW with PX Flighted 5.5 today. Hope to get them soon!!!!!

I am not a technical guy so I will try to explain it as I know:

3-PW yellow dot. Stiff CFS shafts
54 & 58ts tour s wedges
Titleist 910 D3 with aldila RIP shaft stiff
Titleist 910 Fd with project x stiff shaft

Hit them all today for the first time since in the shop. I love them all, but I have to say that I am blown away by the driver. The irons are solid but I expected that. I didn't see a huge yardage gain like some have said, but the feel an solid feeling is much better. I am about a 6 handicap FWIW. I am just getting back into golf as I got burnt out pretty severely.

I'm really curious about your 58 ts tour-s wedge. I haven't been able to see one of the thin sole wedges yet, and it's high on my list (especially now that it's offered in the rustique) to replace my 58 vokey. Any chance you could post some pics? None of the stores around me have them, even the big box ones ...

Also, did you go yellow dot on your wedges? I'm hoping to get in some testing soon with my 54 to decide if I keep it yellow or flatten it a bit ...

Picked up a set today. Got rid of my mp58. They just didn't have enough bounce for me. Actually also got rid of my new i20 hybrid since the set was 3-W. Unlike a lot of you I like the look of the long irons. They almost have the fly-hi look to them. I had no problem hitting the three iron and it saved me a hundred bucks

My G-15's were traded in...My MP-9's from ebay have X-100 shafts and while I swing regular shafts. So, consequently these are my gamer's if I am able to play tomorrow. Cobbled together from Goodwill with a couple of the MP-9's thrown in. I'm needing those I-20's to hurry!!!!

I hit them extensively today. I'm seriously thinking of getting a set with the "L" grind for the sand and lob wedges. I also hit the i20 hybrids. Wow, were they a nice surprise.
