You know, I'm not positive, as she was only working on irons. She plays at our club once and a while, and the times she has been here, I've never seen her hit driver. I believe she was coming off an injury at this time so that may explain it.

LPGA.com says what 260-270ish? She definitely has power for their tour.

Nope mine neither. It has a river with industrial sludge in it on the left, a noisy gravel pit on the right, a freeway on the far side, the "targets" aren't so much targets as they are things that fell of the range picker. But it's off grass and the balls are new, so whaddaya gonna do?

Here' the closest driving range to our Inn, Seven Canyons. It's about 3 miles back into the canyon. It's difficult to concentrate on your game with the views.

 

 

 

And the practice putting green -------

 

 

This is a wierd setup. You park near the first tee, a guy delivers your cart to your car, you drive the cart about 1.5 miles to the Pro Shop and practice area. An employee let's you know when you have 10 minutes to your tee time. You then drive the cart back 1.5 miles to the first tee. Awesome place to play.

Our normally peaceful range was recently overrun by all sorts of miscreants and undesirables. They're gone now, so back to the steady right-left breeze, fog, and sandy turf.

This is the range at Clear Creek Tahoe. A really cool feature is at one end of the tee area there are some slight rumples so you could practice shots from unlevel lies. They also have a short game area that is first class and includes a tee & green to practice 50-80 yard pitches.

 

Not really a place I frequent, but like I said, might be the only photo of a range that I have taken.
