How Do You Arrange Your Clubs in Your Bag?

I usually put my clubs in shaft first, that way the heads stick up out of the bag so i can see what each one is. They are also easier to put in and out that way.......

This is how I put my 4-LW in the bag. Driver and 3 wood go in top and 20* hygrid and 4 & 5 iron go in the 2nd row...

top slot is Driver, 3W, 3H with my putter. Putter tends to sit on top of those 3 in a sense.
middle left slot is 4,5,6i

This is the only way, IMO. Less club chatter, keeps the irons that are long enough to nick the paint on the hybrids (I hate too many headcovers) low enough so they don't bang together.

I use a push cart so for me it's metal woods towards the front pockets and irons starting from the handle, shortest right to left.

From a bag organization pov the "face balanced" putter is the worst innovation in ever. I <3 putters with 7 o'clock toe hang in general, but especially in a carry bag.

Depends on the bag. Usually with odds on one side, evens on the other, in descending order. Woods up front, wedges in back. Putter wherever. At least at the start. By the back nine it's all clubs fending for themselves.

I use a Titleist 14-way light stand bag.
I arrange, using vertical columns, tallest in rear left to shortest in front right because I couldn't see the irons when all of the covered woods were in the rear-center slots. They pretty much hid the view of the irons when the bag was tilted on it's legs.

Starting at rear along left side, coming forward is: Driver, 3w, hybrid, putter

next row starting at rear and moving forward is:
4, 5 and 6 irons

next row to the right. starting at rear and moving forward is:
7, 8 and 9 irons

curving around front right of bag in the remaining 4 slots, start at rear right and moving forward:
PW, AW, SW and LW

I am in the process of retiring my old BagBoy (pre-Revolver, with ClipLoks) which I loved and had an arrangement of a big circle of 11 slots around 3 more. I just got a nice Titleist Lightweight Cart bag, with the more conventional 3-4-4-3 rows + tube. Not sure why I started with the odds on one side and the evens on the other, but glad to hear I'm not the only one who does that. Arrangement is so:

I would keep the driver in the * slot between the hybrids, but it restricts the opening of the box on the pushcart near the handle. I keep the putter in the tube and it never bumps against the wedges.

Geez, looking at it now it makes very little sense to anyone but me... oh well... been setting it up like this for too long to change now...

Switching from a four way (original hoofer) to a five way (2014 hoofer) caused me more problems than I care to admit. I've always carried driver, 3w and putter in the top hole. HOW DO I EVENLY SPLIT THREE CLUBS?!?!?! DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SPARE OCD MEDICATION!?!?!?!?!?

I use one of those $30 Tour Trek Sunday bags that they blew out on sale last year. It has 3 compartments and can hold 14 clubs, though I usually only carry 12 or maybe 13. I do woods and putter together, hybrids together, and then irons together.
