BGC- Loved it. It feels like you are transported to another time and place. My heaven would be playing this course every day.
Kittansett- Some amazing memorable holes and some forgettable ones. The wind can absolutely eat you up.
TPC Boston - post renovation it's actually a fun course. I didn't like it the first time I played it but it seems to get a little better every year.

My wish list for 2014 would be OS and Golf Club of Cape Cod. Both look fantastic.

I played it once, Sean - in the rain. Not a casual rain. A hard, steady, they-should-have-cancelled-the-outing type of rain. Despite playing on those conditions, it's still one of the most stunning courses I've played. I don't know that I'll get a repeat invite, so I might have to just live off my memory - but it's a real gem.

Anyone played Ocean Edge in Brewster? Thoughts on that course. I know it's not on this list but just wanted to hear some peoples thoughts on the course if they have played it.

No love for the Ranch in Southwick Mass???? Beautiful course...built I think in 2000.

The hills at The Ranch make the course too gimmicky/non-traditional, IMHO. I feel like it's better served as a ski-slope.

Agreed. It's an ok course but not worth the trek from Boston. It's not a patch on the other top Mass publics like Crumpin Fox, Pinehills, Waverly, Red Tail etc. The downhill par 5s are fun but a bit silly - especially the last one 16?

Pretty tight resort course definitely worth playing if you are in the area. I believe they redid a few holes within the last few years or so. Conditions are always top notch. You may have to be staying at the resort to play. If that's the case, try either Port or Starboard at Captains down the road. You won't be dissapointed.

Like the course and have played it annually for the past 5-6 years. Unfortunately, every year the conditions have been worse than the previous year. This past visit it was so bad we asked for (and received) a partial refund. Not sure if we'll go back this year, definitely will be checking on here for any condition reports first.

I travel to the cape fairly often for golf during the season. I've heard rave reviews of Old Seabury, and I'm dying to get off there... Now convincing the people there that I'm interested in property at 24 Y.O. might be tough.

I'm done with the Ranch. Conditions have gone from bad to worse. The Blue Course at New Seabury is a pretty good track, unfortunately it's now fully private. I haven't played Ocean's Edge since the redo. It was a pretty blah resort course pre the overhaul. I have heard good things about it since then. Cape Cod National is a good course if you get a chance.
