listen man. the real difference is that the big break guys get one shot. when they go to do a shot for a chance at the next round they honestly only get one shot. no re dos no make up on the next hole. its always do now not later. and they hit the range then wait their turn. i give respect for the winner because that is the guy who hit the most sunday 72nd hole shots to make it where they want.

on that show every shot is a clutch shot. its awesome.

I'm basing it on the fact that big break players, all they do on the show, is silly little challenges like break glass or flop over a wall. That has nothing to do with playing on tour, and instead of playing real golf. They mown and grown to each other, and when one of them do win. You never hear from them again, because they can't make it on tour, because there not good enough for it.

A lot of that equipment he is playing in the show, know driver and irons for sure.

Doubt the fact he has all adams equipment means he won, he did make a comment in the last show that he is hurting for funds, so he probably got stocked up with adams gear for the show, take what you can get sometimes.

I can not speak for the other players but I personally know the hard work and dedication Matt has put into making golf his career. Countless miles on his car, time away from family and friends, all to persue the dream of making it on tour. Also, it is not like they are getting a one year exemption or anything, it's one tournament. Who knows, the winner might prove they belong. Who cares how they got there.

The Monday Pro-Ams are sometimes a tough fill as players may not get into town until Tuesday.

If the Tour needs a player or two, they contact local Web.com or Champions tour players to fill in. Not sure if he's from the area but he must know someone who knew someone that got him a spot in that pro-am.

He considers Tampa his hometown and has caddied several times for Lee Janzen so guessing he's made a few connections.

The more we see these guys teeing it up with the pros the more I realize how little big break shows off their true talent. I think this is a huge downfall of the show. The only thing that gives these players credibility is reading their bios. otherwise we'd be asking who these hacks were and how they got onto the show.

Thanks for posting, Matt, and welcome! You are proof positive to something I've believed for a long while -- today's group of caddies are much, much better players than back when I was busting loops (though I never got a bag on the big tour.
