Based off of ST it looks like they both chose to lay up. Probably to set up better shot at a birdie. I remember 18 being one of those holes that got a lot of complaints because guys would go for it in 2, hit a great shot, and not get rewarded.

Just for comparison, Tiger has missed 2 greens, averaged 22'8" in proximity, and has averaged 0.362 SGP.

So you're saying that Phil will taper off dramatically. Tiger's play is sustainable, Phil's is not, and is due to regress to the mean.

How far are you going back for those five by Tiger? Since 2007, at this very tournament, Phil has outplayed Tiger in their head-to-head match-ups something on the order of 5 to 1, and by a significant margin of strokes.
