I apparently am totally missing out on that Anser hybrid. I wonder why so many non-staff guys seem to have it in the bag while you don't see many Ping staff guys with any of their hybrids in the bag....

Didn't Furyk purchase this putter in a golf store? If so I wonder if Odyssey machiened a sight line in this putter as they are not offered in a retail version.

That's my only complaint with the #1W - no siteline. I love this option added to Jim's putter.

Love those wedges. I am jealous of the X Forged 50˚, so hard to find these days and no MD2 yet. They really should have done a retail line of X-Forged conforming. I am planning on doing the same wedge set up. Have the 256.14 C-C (55˚), need the TVD-K.

I too may have to join the Anser 20˚ brigade. It is super nice, just waiting to see the new XTD and X2Hot hybrids.

What does Jim like about the 2011 X Forged irons? Most everyone likes the sole grind on the 2013. Does he prefer his to dig a little?

They have quite a few guys that play it... not every player is a hybrid player out there at that level. BUT the ones that are do play their hybrids... Cabrera plays Anser hybrid, Lingmerth plays Anser hybrid, Mahan plays Anser hybrid, Mark Wilson also... Westwood and Maggert off the top of my head play G25 hybrid... You have to realize there staff list is tiny compared to Titleist or TMag... The cool stuff are the non-paid, non-sponsored guys that play Anser hybrid-- Phil, Furyk, Kuchar, Snedeker... those are some big names that can play whatever they want playing PING hybrids with no cash on the line. Hell, one of those guys has a company that's manufactured him a personal prototype hybrid.

I guess I'm mostly thinking like larger named people. I know Mahan has typically gamed a hybrid but thought it was the G25 earlier in the year. Really besides him Ping's other big names (in my opinion) are Bubba and Westwood (Cabrera as well for the big time golf fans and for majors). We don't see lots of bag pics of Mark Wilson and Jeff Maggert so I guess thats what got me under that impression.

I need to keep my eyes open and grab one of these for next year as I'm Anser through the woods at the moment anyways.

What is going on with the putter shaft? Has it been bent upright? It does not look like it is attached to the head quite right.

Yeah, I see that as well. The one picture does look like something happened to where the shaft meets the putter head.
