Got to see everything today. Was very impressed. Aesthetically both drivers blow Taylormade out of the water. We shall see on performance. Early indications would point for a big year from Callaway in 2014.

The real trick to COG is being able to move it around without destroying the playability. Companies shove the weight low and to the back to improve ball speeds across the face. On the flipside if you smash it agains the face and low you can severely lower MOI so a heel or toe shot goes nowhere. But ....imagine a driver where you could change it without negatively effecting things like LA, Spin, and Ball speeds? Imagine a fitter having that ability when fitting a player?

On the second day of the shoot at the range location I witnessed players changing one key component of Driver C and changing spin by as much as 800rpm's. Put it this way players were getting 600-800rpm spin changes without even touching the adaptor. LOFT and face angle were not even touched. My jaw dropped.

-20 here with snow so no I didn't. Had the Flightscope out but the rep only stopped by for a few mins. It does look great but only coming in 9 degrees with a COG to change loft. At 10 & 11 degrees, it looked closed.

Finding the right shaft is still important. Remember there's more to producing a good golf shot then just spin.

PMAC- Didn't see Phil using it with numbers. He wasn't there until the last day when there weren't any "range" shots atleast that I saw. Keep in mind I left half way through the day to catch a flight.

Understood. The numbers of 750 less rpm from Phil came from a Cally guy. The tech story is great but why only the weight forward on one club?

Lol no, It will come out, not sell as well as the TM stuff, be hyped by Phil for a few weeks until he starts using a special 6 iron as his new "driving" club.

I've played almost every driver Callaway has ever released so I'm not exactly a hater and even had the 2013 Xforged in the bag last season but they aren't coming up with something that TM or Titleist haven't already that offers any major performance advantage. It's great you are excited but for every person that buys it, thinks its the greatest thing ever, there will be 2 more that don't like it and buy something else.

There are no game changers left unless they decide to lighten up performance restrictions. I've got a SLDR right now... if I hit a R510 TP on the screws it's just as good as the SLDR. If I hit my FT-3 on the screws it's BETTER than the SLDR ( and every other Cally driver ).

I got 500rpms with a shaft that doesn't fit me at all. I still have the OG Razr Fit in play with the old tour cog so I couldn't try it with my current Accra Tour Proto but I used a different shaft that I had and it still made a difference. This thing is for real boys and all of the doubters will be blown away. But do yourself a favor and still get fit...and then have it properly built. Getting properly fit will change your life.
