You are not necessarily correct in your last statement in total and much less in actual application. You have made almost 100 of the first 400 posts here. Much of this Hype has been produced by 4 or 5 different posters.
We understand that there is a lot of internal excitement about the promise of this club. But it will only work (hopefully?) for those whose game it fits. If it were the "end-all" club, Callaway would not have 5 or 6 drivers for 2014, there would be one!
The true test will come from hitting it and if it is all that is imagined (at least for the better players then we will see it in the bags of Tour players all over the world who don't have other driver contracts instead of the TMs that dominate now.
Then all those crowing now can then have something real to speak of. But until then all of this is random conjecture.
By the way the competition (not just TM) has already seen and tested these to some extent. It is very hard to keep absolute secrets in Carlsbad.

In addition, we'd like to give our US sales force a few weeks time to show our key green grass customers this product before it's published on our website and others. As for whether this makes good business sense, where the emotion of the situation would probably compel us or others to release this product now, the facts and data tell us otherwise. The Covert has been very good to me. The 2.0 Tour will be tested. I haven't seen the new Cally driver yet, but my rep is due up sometime soon. I'll give it a go I'm sure. I'm really excited to see it.

I liked the XHP driver but it didn't beat the Covert when it came to finding the fwy. But the XHP 17 is still in the bag. My dad hi-jacked my 3 Deep though.

Cool. I tested the Covert Tour but just didn't like the headshape although it gave me some good numbers. THe 2.0 looks a bit different so i'm interested to see it firsthand. As for the XHP its a good driver but never made my bag. Went back and forth between an Razr Fit Xtreme and Ping G25. My 3deep is stellar but that 2deep has my name on it haha.

Agree with OUZO about J13, he is really pretty honest about what he thinks. Ask him about his driver changes this year. I know he tried or owned just about everything out there this year from just about every OEM.

I am starting to really get frustrated with no spy shots of these drivers yet! This new Callaway secret stuff is so brutal, Dec 2 seems like forever away!

Money well spent. You were given thousands and thousands of dollars to be in an OEM's commercial, and because of that you have the thought that you are THE ONLY ONE ABLE TO GIVE IT STRAIGHT. Heck, before the gifting even began you started the pimping of that company's product. Not blaming you. It's why they spend that money. Marketing works. But don't start thinking ONLY YOU can "give it straight." It's why these trips have to stop. And now that we know for a fact that the OEM's are REQUESTING certain members, the day of unbiased ANYTHING are over. Clearly. if you want to go on a trip, you better pick a manufacturer and stand on a box and scream about how great they are. Again, not blaming you. Happens in every industry. All of them. Just happens to be you that was purchased this time. Hell, I've had a lot of these trips too. Trips to Carlsbad, Huntington Beach, Doral, Firestone etc. I just never thought that it meant that i instantly became the ONLY voice of truth and light. Having had a chance to hit both drivers, I am a little underwhelmed after the build up here. Difference was minimal from my Razr Hawk Proto (HCG).
I assume I'm not allowed to post pics yet?
