the BB is Driver A
the "Alpha" or "BB Alpha" is Driver B

B will have a weight dead in the centre of the sole of the club, which can be flipped (screw it out w a provided wrench, flip it around) and its suppose to change the COG (or the spin, by upwards of 800 rpm)
it will also has a weight that will slide on the perimeter of the sole (like the pic i posted earlier from the spy pics) that will control your left to right
Will also have a dual cog loft adapter - which is NEW and NOT interchangeable w other Cally drivers from this year
Stock shaft is a new Fubuki or ATX Tour (unsure of colour) ... cant remember exactly now ....
430-440cc head
price point $499

the BB, is basically the same driver, but no weight in the middle of the sole and a different shaft
cant remember what shaft is stock tho, one of the above i mentioned
460cc head
price point $399

I heard that Driver "A" BB will feature the slider type weighting system only. Driver "B" BB Alpha will have the Gravity tech that you mention but will not have the Slider weight system. I heard it will have MWT and come with additional weights. Both drivers will have the same adapters as the Optiforce line, nothing new. I have not seen either of these drivers, this is coming from someone I know who has had the pleasure of seeing/hitting them already. He would not send pics unfortunately:(

Wife wanted java. We stopped at DD. That stuff is terible. How do you guys drink it? Then what do we see? a TH about 100 yards away. We went running so fast we just tossed out DD cups in the first can we saw. Life was beck to normal again after a sip of TH coffee.

What I heard is more consistent with TheMoneyShot's understanding..

The Big Bertha Alpha will not have a slider from what I have heard. it will have the flip weight and the more traditional heel toe weights like the RFE.

Shaft wise...
The regular BB will have a Fubuki Z shaft and the BB Alpha will have a Fubuki ZT shaft.

Colors....
They both will likely be available in multiple crown colors but I'm not sure you can choose a color for the sole.

Yeah, love that about my TM R1 with heel/toe weights to control ball flight/swingweight. Early last year it was between the RFX and the R1, and the R1 won out due to more loft adjustability and face angle w/sole adjuster. Looks like the same fight this next year between the 430 SLDR and the BB Alpha.
Since I already have Cally MBs in the bag, the fact that Alpha will have improved adjustability for launch/spin, it may be a much fuller Cally bag this next year!

When i visited Toronto for the first time this summer, the thing that stood out most different from here is the coffee. Every Starbucks I went past had maybe 1 or 2 people sitting in there. EVERY Tim Hortons was packed.


Back on topic: I know Callaway said they were expanding no-upcharge shaft options in the irons, I wonder if they will be doing the same in their woods/drivers with this release?

Thanks, but was just asking the mods. This back and forth between posters about this is getting this thread way off track. I would just like to know the answer from the mods. They are free not to answer, obviously, but I see nothing accomplished by more and more "opinions" of users about this.
