Even the original Nike Cover tour is not 460cc, I believe it is 430 or 440, I should know cause that's what I game, but yeah, the new nike that tiger is gaming is definitely not 460cc

Love the Covert Tour 2.0, looks great, I loved the original so, a might have to make a change ;)
The reason people were asking if Tigers driver is 460cc is because the Covert Tour 2.0 coming to retail in January is 460cc. Something to keep in mind if you plan on switching..

Wow! New woods all the way around for...Woods...I'll shut up!
Did I miss something about him playing new fairway woods too? Cuz I didn't see anything about that here. Or are you just talking about the driver?

very cool pictures

the driver footprint reminds me of the dymo 380. Does anyone know if tiger used the 380cc version of the vr tour?

the 103cc blueboard is an interesting choice, i wonder why you'd opt for a heavier spinnier shaft (by todays standards) if you have lighter/low-spin options?
The club also looks to be short by today's standards, the weight is probably to get the swingweight to an acceptable level. I'm also willing to bet the Blueboard doesn't spin as much when you tip it an inch or so.

Sweet TW hat, haven't seen him wear non-fitted hats in a while.

oh yeah, insane driver as well..

Of course, you'd notice the hat! :cheesy:

I love my hats, that's a fact. Always excited to get the latest ones. You can count i'll get that TW hat and Nike flatbills when they come out w/ the new logos.

:jester:

Also, I think he is wearing the Nike Golf Weatherized Pant. Keeps you real warm in real cold conditions. Cold as in sub 50 California degree standards.

http://www.zappos.co...ized-pant-black

2382104-2-MULTIVIEW.jpg

The Weatherized pants front pockets are almost horizontal and Tigers pants have totally different pockets (typical vertical style) so he's not wearing them, but you're right, they're awesome pants and are perfect for cold weather, which I get from October to April...

I see, I wasn't too sure, but correct about the pockets. The weatherized ones are Horizontal and shallow.

103 in the driver would be his heaviest driver except for the steel shafts right? I don't remember anything but the 83 before.

Maybe has something to do with the new ball or driver
Sergio has used around 100 in his driver lately I believe

Agreed...except he cant get his caddy a fresh Nike or TW hat with the new club and ball advertising on the sides. Anyone pick up on that? Lol

The caddies get hooked up with caps from the equipment trailers. Since there isn't a Nike trailer at Sherwood this week, Joey hasn't been set up with any new caps. Didn't check to see if Rory was wearing a Nike cap with the new ball "logo" on the side but I doubt his caddy had a cap either, even if Rory did.

+1 on the ugly shoes... even if their comfortable, got to have some style. Those look like he straight out stole those from a clown.
I gotta agree. I've owned a few of the previous offerings and didn't mind them. Actually wore them for a stretch. These however, God awful...

Like another poster mentioned, they seemingly made them worse...

TW always looks sharp......until you get to the shoes.

I may have to stock up on the older hats because I'm not a huge fan of the new one.
Yeah I was just thinking of that myself. The old 20XI and the Vrs logo don't look as cheap compared to the new ones. I don't like how they put "nike" next to the RZN either.

Maybe It´s because I´m european and from Sweden, but why is Tiger always wearing so f******g ugly pants? They look like a tent. Does he need guidance on the wind direction or what? He´s a fit guy, why don´t he wear pants that fit?

TW is already a low spin player, and going to something a little heavier and 'spinnier' is easier to control. Honestly the difference in spin for me when I did some testing was pretty minimal between the BB and WB as well.

Driver length is the same as he's been playing, which according to the Nike Tech Tour Rep is 45" and the head size on this 2.0 is the same as what he's been playing in the original Covert, which was 430cc, I believe.

Greg
Any clue if he changed loft from his CT (9.5) since he went to a heavier/spinnier shaft in the CT 2.0?

Am I the only one who isn't a fan of the adjustable hat? I don't know, perhaps I'm a fan of the more clean look of a fitted/ flex-fit look. You think it'll be a mainstay?

Looks like he using the 2.0 after all.
The fact that we have him actually hitting the 2.0 on the range and on the course versus sitting in his bag in the locker room pretty much confirmed it 3 pages ago. ;-)
