Nike has 5 different Covert Tour 2.0 drivers on the USGA Conforming List. Versions 1 and 2 look to be what will become the retail head. Version 6 looks to be the new Tiger head and Versions 7 and 8 could possibly be what Rory's playing.

On another note, I'd like to know what the idea behind going to the Blueboard 103x in the driver was. Maybe this one's shorter and he won't spray it all over God's Green Earth.

Alright, been a while since I have read up on this, but his sweater, is it available to the public?

Lots of speculation in the past that his cashmere (not entirely sure that's what this sweater is, but it appears to be) sweaters are made in the UK and then logos are stitched.

if tiger indeed goes 103x BB and shorter - it only reminds me of comments we have been making for years. go back to "OLD STANDARDS" with new technology and find the fairway. i understand that his driving was much improved last year - but he is not automatic down the stretch with the driver like Adam Scott is.

So while Tiger was waiting for his pro-am partners to hit off the 18th tee I asked him about the Nike Covert 2.0 driver. He had that one under the Tiger head cover and when he hit driver, that was the driver of choice. Tiger said he liked it a lot, Joey said he wasn't sure if it would be in play tomorrow. We'll see.

Tiger said he's been testing the new ball for quite some time now but wasn't ready to put it in play yet!
