Hey, do you guys mind providing some feedback?

Basically, I'm a huge golfer myself, and I was recently in the market for a new golf bag. But I couldn't find the type of bag I was looking for. So just curious, and sort of a market research question. Would you guys be interested in quality leather golf bags that have a classic/vintage feel to them with a slight modern twist?

The bags would grab ideas and be somewhat similar to the ones shown here.

I would like a bag like those. It just looks classic to me. Yes, I'd be interested.

You have to really love "vintage" to spend $300+ on a bag that essentially has no features. A $300 Sun Mountain will almost make you a sandwich.

I do like the look though.

No. Too expensive, plus will show every scratch and water stain.

To me, it's like asking if you'd like to drive a 1968 GTO.

Sure, sometimes. But if I'm doing that, I want it to be a real 1968 car, not a fake new one with a "modern twist."

They look cool but realistically I'd never use one. I walk too much - and they'd just be too heavy and vulnerable to bad weather.

Well said. And yet, there's a market, albeit a very small one for people who want replicas of cool muscle-era cars. I don't think there's any sort of real market for these, as it would be the same type of small niche.

Probably not. I like modern stand bags.

No. Bag is more about function then look. Leather bags are impractical for people who actually have to carry or utilize on a push cart. Too heavy.

I like the look, but it just doesn't have the functionality to be worth the price. I would have concerns about keeping it clean and how it would fair in different weather conditions.

So, while I like it, I would never purchase it.

I will stick to my modern stand bag. Light weight and durable.

I'd rather see ultra modern bags that use better, lighter, stronger materials, and have color schemes that I actually like.

Conceptually, I love the idea. But practically, there's a reason leather bags have disappeared. Want to get my attention, find a way to make a lightweight bag with modern conveniences (bottle pocket, towel loop, etc), yet have it keep a clean, classy look rather than a logo covered tour wannabe look.

I agree with an above comment. I appreciate the look but don't find it practical for storage and weather resistance. I'm a cart golfer and imagine the weight would be counter productive for walkers. Hope the feedback helps.

I have a Mackenzie Walker (2nd bag shown above) made out of ballistic nylon. It is, by far, the best bag I have ever owned--super lightweight, durable, water resistant, etc. It wasn't cheap, but it is so much nicer and better built than than any bag from the big box brands. I walk 99% of my rounds and don't carry much stuff with me.

I really like the vintage feel for golf and bought an Iliac leather about three years back. Still using it. I haven't noticed any weight gain due to moisture, or scratches to wear and tear. I easily get a couple of comments on it almost every time out and love it.
Of the five bags shown, I really like the Mackenzie and perhaps the leather bag #4...just not sure from the photo. I really don't like the look of the first two models.
Finally, from shopping for these bags just a few years back, price points above (well above) $300 are typical and like a previous post, worth it if you really like the bag. I expect to keep/use mine for a long time.

I would and have been looking on ebay for old vintage bags, but finding them in good enough shape has been a problem.

i like the look of the first 2 bags because, from what my eyes can tell, are a combination of leather and other materials. the ones below, that look they're purely upholstered with leather, don't look appealing to me.
