Long Irons. i200 or iblade

Just wondering if anyone is playing a full set of 4-pw iblades and liking them? I just got some iblades 6-pw that were awesome at the range today. I'm coming from a combo set of 4-5 iron JPX 825 Pros and 6-pw MP-64s so I just assumed I should get the 4 and 5 i200s but they have been really hard to find so I'm debating if it really be that bad to go with the iblades if I find them first.

FWIW I don't know if it's because they are 2 degree flat but height wise the iblades are shorter than the 64s, but are longer heel to toe than the 64s. The 4 and 5 can't be that hard to hit right??

How do you hit the rest? How is your ball striking?

I would get the i200s and not even think about it.

I do not understand combo sets, rock the Iblades.

I agree with Randy. I've played both. I really didn't see much difference between them. I actually preferred the iblades. Solid club as are the i200 but the long irons on the i200 did not suit my eye at all. Just looked kinda clunky whereas the iblades did not.

whichever you find 1st with the right shaft I guess if you're buying 2nd. But if you are ordering new, I'll go with full iblades.

I have been testing both. iBlades are very forgiving for the size of head. I usually buy 5-pw, then go with a hybrid after the 5 iron. Only thing I have found between the 2, i200s are about 5 yards/1/2 club longer and slightly more forgiving on toe strikes vs. iBlades. Go hit the 5&4 and see how comfortable you are hitting them. ;)

I haven't got any issues with the longer irons in my iBlades, I did demo the i200s, they are bit (almost insignificant) more forgiving on missed hits in terms of getting the total distance and not being 20 yards short (iBlades also get the distance) compared to other irons...the longer irons are very similar, I chose the iBlades looks over the i200s, performance is almost identical.

Thank you everyone very much. I'm glad most of you said just get the iblades, which is what I'm going to do. Unfortunately I've missed a few opportunities on ebay trying to decide on this and trying to wait for 4 and 5 to come together but I don't really care anymore. I'll keep looking and pick the iblades up!
