easiest club to draw or fade?

curious about to opinions.

what club is easiest to intentionally draw or fade? is it the same club? and assume you need a fair amount of distance.

let's say it's a 330 yard extreme dogleg where you need to curve the ball alot to get in good position for 2nd shot.

i'm not that good a golfer but i find the long irons easiest to draw. i don't intentionally fade much as that's like a normal shot although i have started with trying that too.

for some reason i find all of driver, FW's, hybrid's hard to work............. is that the common view that irons are easier to work? ap2 4 iron is the one i use but i can draw other 3 and 4 irons i have..... and i forget whether short irons are supposed to be easy to work or not. on one hand, alot of backspin which makes it harder to work. but short irons are very easy to hit so you can manipulate things with your hands without worrying about hitting a really bad shot.

3 wood or hybrid for me for that distance

For me driver is easiest, then woods then hybrids.

I can hook a hybrid and fairway all day ... draw is another question.

I can draw my hybrid just about anytime and I fade wedges and short irons pretty well.

You can talk to a fade, but hooks won't listen. The flatter the face, the face, the easier to curve; however, there is so much tech in drivers and the ball to prevent side spin, I find fw, long irons and mid irons and hybrids the easiest to work both ways.

Take any Titleist D3 driver set all the way open and it will fade.

In general, less loft means easier to spin sideways. But why? Most players, especially those who aren't "that good", will do best when playing a shot that they hit consistently. If your natural shot is a fade, find a way to make your fade fit the hole. I'm playing to a 5 handicap, and I hit two basic shots for over 90% of my shots: a draw, and a hold-on very gentle draw. I can hit a fade in an emergency, but an emergency is the only time I think its worthwhile.

3 wood draw, any club fade

My natural shot shape is a fade. I find it easiest to draw 3-4 iron as well.

For shorter irons I just take account of the fade. If the shot absolutely calls for a draw, I’m way out of position and usually have to keep it low

For me

for dogleg 330 yards or rmore --> driver

for mid distance (150-190 yards) : wood 17.5°

for less iron 5

for good hitter iron 2 3 4

I hit a natural draw with all clubs thru the bag. I have a hard time hitting a controlled fade, but my easiest clubs to fade would be 3 wood or 3 iron.

what's this fade thing you speak of?If I hit a fade it's a miracle,I've hit like 2 in the last 5 years

3 wood, swing slightly slower, you can turn the ball over a lot

If you're adept at working the ball, all clubs work fine for either shot.
