Revolution Brewing released three of its Deepwoods series this week, Deth Tar, Cafe Deth, and Deth by Currant. Here's Deth Tar. Oh, Lord, it's smooth for a 14.8% imperial.

Had a 16 on tap at Hopcat in Madison on Saturday. Celebrated my parents 50th Anniversary with the rest of the family. Limo, casino, Hopcat, then some German bar. Hopcat truly has an amazing selection. I enjoyed a Dogfish Vanilla WW Stout, Avery Tweak BBA stout, and then the TenFidy. My bro and I then cracked open a CBS for the ride home and enjoyment for the remainder of the evening back home! We really celebrated!

There were over 1000 people lined up outside Binny's in Lincoln Park this morning. I got there at 4 pm, and they had a few cases of the regular, but the other varieties were long gone.

Yeah there are never lines in this area and they had plenty of it - I couldn't believe pictures like that.

They even had a sign out that said "no limit".

Lol that is bananas. My local store in Michigan had no limit on regular or variants. Bought one of each except for Reserve and Prop (which they didn’t have). There’s no way I’d ever wait in line for any beer these days.

Regular BCS is easy to get. I saw at least 4 cases at Binny's in River North today. It's the reserve, proprietors that are hard to get.

Still plenty of it on the shelves locally here, ~24 a bomber. I bought two and have one left. Last weekend tap takeover at local bar and they had a 1/4 barrel of CBS image/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> and they gave option of pint or snifter image/blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />. Going there again tonight for boys night for dinner and some beer, hoping they have some left. Very nice to be able to get on tap!

holy sh!t, that is crazy. Locally they had the regular and orange peel. Were there others....in past I've gotten the coffee and passed on the barleywine, but now I regret that....let's just say my palate wasn't quite there yet!

I was able to grab plenty of Revolution Deth Tar and Cafe Deth in the past two weeks. I haven't seen the Deth by Currants in the stores. Today they release Ryeway to Heaven, Gravedigger Billy, and Vanilla Deth.

I had a nice Central Waters Brewing Cassian Sunset (2018) BA imperial stout last night while I was enjoying watching the Bear's defense shut down the Rams. Central Waters name doesn't come up much when one is discussing imperial stouts, but I think they make a handful of excellent brews.

I've enjoyed all of their BA offerings.

    Stout

    Cassian Sunset

    Peruvian Morning

    Rum Barrel Coconut Porter

    Belgian Quad

    Barleywine

    Scotch Ale

Was lucky enough to try Black Gold, aged over 3 years and it excellent, and XX, which was very similar to their stock BA stout, but aged a little more.

Great thing about CW is you can find it (at least around hear, nit sure hiw much they disteibute outaide wisco) and reasonably priced!
