It's a shame, though. Wilson has made great wedges the last few years. I had a set for a while and they spun and interacted with the turf almost perfectly. And then "ho'ing" happened... :(

Put the P(I)MP wedges in my bag just under a year ago and i can confirm the turf interaction and spin is something else. Spun a 54* off a green and back into the water last week (I’m not a big spinner but the green was wet) and although it cost me two shots, it did look cool .

 

With the MP4s in my bag as well, I see at lot of similarities with VJ...even my putting is a bit streaky!

I find it interesting that any of the players I see with the PMP Raw wedges in their bags have very little to no rust on them. I bought a set and they rusted over quick.

Last summer Vijay went to our local Golf Galaxy to buy some drivers off-the rack while in town for the PGA......seriously. Love that guy!

 

I believe that was a promotional thing because KJ and Fyurk did similair things at other tournies.

As I said in the other thread, those Bloodline putters are legit. I've got the mallet version and to say it's unique is an understatement. I'm so impressed that I'll be doing a full write up for the community.

Wow, I play Modus 105 X AND I just put a Wilson Staff PMP tour grind wedge in the bag. Vijay and I are like one!?

 

Seriously, I would highly recommend giving the latest Wilson Staff wedges a look. I love the shape and they feel really nice. Compared them to the S18, MD4 and ofhers — they can hang. The Tour grind, their C grind, is similar to my Fourteen C grind and I really like it. The Staff Tour PMP is excellent and I’m not surprised Vijay is playing them.

Love the mixed bag, I don't think I've even hit a Wilson wedge.

 

I can vouch for them. I play a 54 and 58 FG Tour TC. Smaller blade and more straight leading edge.

yeah wedges don't differ all that much.....if you put em all down on ground and said name which co and model i doubt seriously most if can could
