Question for the Air Max 1 G owners. Just got a pair dropped off in my usual size, they seem a little stiff/narrow. Will they loosen/soften up as they break in? They are a touch snug at the moment but lengthwise they are fine and I don't think I have ever had my feet described as wide before.

i've worn my pair for 10ish rounds and they're still pretty stiff and narrow .. forefoot crease is there now but still uncomfortable .. haven't had to break in a pair of "sneaker" style golf shoes like these ever.

 

this will probably be met with pitchforks and tiki torches here .. but the roshe tours and now these have seriously underwhelmed me and I've worn nike golf shoes for 10+ years .. the last few seasons have seen a quality drop-off imo .. i'll see myself out now

I had the same issue on the AM’s unfortunately. Had to move on from them. That being said, for me, the TP is where it’s at man. That shoe is comfort defined.

Deng that is disappointing I was looking forward for the TP grey, that will be bad a** looking TP, kind a like the cool grey AJ4.

Not sure if even I believe what I saw, but I was in Michigan this past week for a golf trip. When I was back in the Detroit Metro area, I saw a pair (but couldn't find the box) of white air max with a black swoosh at the University of Michigan Course Golf Shop and also saw a pair of them at Carl's Golfland around the same area. Nike is really out of control, can't even get my rep to respond to an email, even though I saw that they are showing next years products, I have a bad feeling that golf is about to go on the back burner with some of their decisions lately.

mine are comfortable for the most part. no break in for almost all of the shoe. the upper heal digs into my ankle and has actually broke skin. it was actually a stinging pain and bled enough to make my socks feel damp at the top...I want to know if that will break in/break down so that it's softer. otherwise the shoes are great imo, as the fit is a good width for my foot and length is spot on.

 

so I've been wearing my react vapor's and roshe g's because I can't stand to walk and swing for 18 holes in the am1's...

 

has anyone else had the same issue?

Yeah, camo doesn’t speak to a larger portion of the golfing crowd, one would think. At least realtree-esque type camo.
