Which ball were you playing when ProV1 hit the scene?

Max Fli Revolution- I still have one or two in my basement on the putting matt.

I played the Nike balls as soon as available. Not sure of the timeline but I loved the Nike DD (David Duval)

Titleist DT

Titleist Professional if I could get them on the cheap. In 1999-2000 my ball budget was more value driven than now.

 

I was an early adopter of the solid core tech, I like the Spalding Tour Edition, the Strata etc. Titleist was late to the game, but when the landed they landed big time.

Ah yes! I used to buy those, usually there was just a slight bubble on the paint job or something.

It was. There was the original Revolution (wound version), then came the super ultra crappy disaster that was the Revolution Solid(late 2000 early 2001) then the A10 (2002) came a bit after that.

I think I went from Titleist Balata to Professional to Prestige to Maxfli Revolution to A10. After the A10 I went to the ProV1 (and ProV1 x-outs) for quite a few years. I tried other balls (Callaway, Bridgestone, Nike) but seemed to always go back to the ProV1. I did make a switch from the ProV1 back in 2014 and have been playing Taylormade ever since.
