New Rules in Effect

In order to create New Ads in the BST you must have one of the options below:

1) Have a minimum of 75 posts under your name
2) be a ClubWRX member
3) pay a $5 insertion fee to make your Ad active

User can PM member and view BST topics without any restrictions.

Any Ad created that does not follow the BST Rules is subjected to deletion without PM.

Any questions about deleted Ads should be asked in the BST Ad Help Section:

Do Not PM me without first posting your question in the BST Ad help section.

Starting Dec 1, 2010, pinned ad fees will be $10 for each week posted. Also, the pinned fee is only for those items originally listed and the maximum amount of time it can be pinned is for 30 days unless you are paying the higher rate. Please pm me for details.

Unfortunately it will take some time before people catch on, is there a way to lock peoples acct from posting until one of the 3 is achieved? Would make patroling the FS ads easier for you guys.

Why not just charge $3-5 per ad for every member who has 75 posts and allow as many ads in a 30 day period with only 1 active at a time??

Just my opinion, but I dont think WRX is out to "make money" on this, there are other golf forums not to be named that do that.

This is set in place to deter scum sellers, no be a source of revenue.

The BST has always been a privilege, and I believe the staff want to keep it that way.

I am new to golfwrx and I just reached my 75 post tonight. I enjoy reading the post, staying in the loop, and commenting on different subjects. I have already bought/sold a few things and I think this new rule is a very good idea. I am glad that I belong to such a honest site.

I think these new rules are great! I love it.....I just posted a BST ad but didnt see where to pay my $5 fee....Im relatively new to the site....joined in january i believe....so im kind of a rookie....and I hate asking this question I just dont know where to pay the fee to! help is appreciated!

You only have to pay the $5 if you don't have 75 post, but you've got the post covered so you're good. Good luck with your selling.

3) pay a $5 insertion fee to make your Ad active

I created an ad on 9/9 and then locked it once the items sold thinking I would not add any more items. Of course, I bought more clubs and now would like to sell them. Do I need to wait til 10/9 to create a new ad? Forgive me if this seems like a silly question, but I am very appreciative for the marketplace here and I want to be certain that I am following the stated rules. Thanks for the help!

\How do you get the shield under your name? I'm a GolfWRX member, is that it?
