No wins last year. No showings as yet this year. Fell far away yesterday.

While I think Phil is relevant, and I know you do too, don't forget he hasn't had a top ten in more than a year and a half I believe.

That's my point. I don't think he's done, but he's gotten to be pretty inconsistent. No one can do this thing forever and guys slide down all the time. We're acting as if age and health only affects one or two guys. As they saying goes, time is undefeated.

US Open T2

Open 1

PGA T72

 

Majors 2014:

 

Master CUT

US Open T28

Open T23

PGA 2

 

A win and 3 top 2 finishes in the last 8 majors played and the guy is irrelevant?

And Tiger doesn't care about anything you have to say as well. The PGA Tour players all say the complete opposite of you. Who's opinion should I take, Tiger's contemporaries or some angry guy from Florida who has failed miserably at a trolling attempt?

I said inconsistent. Not irrelevant. The stat everyone wants to look at are wins. He had zero. After 2013 the world was waiting for something big to happen. In 2015, we're all waiting for the "big names" to still do something. They're getting lapped by younger guys consistently.

Other than public humiliation in front of millions and millions of viewers & spectators. No, I don't see Tiger taking that risk.

He's also dropping out of the top 100 - that might spur him on to get out there and give it a try. The majors seem to bring out the best in past champions (see Couples, Watson etc) so if he can't get psyched for Augusta, he might as well call it a day and go party with Anthony Kim.

To be honest, that's not surprising. He'll want to announce it before the SHO starts. Also, no way he announces it the week of the Masters. There would really be no point. Either he's ready now or he's not.
