I can tell you I will visit golf galaxy again have my blister goes away to give it a test again I just feel like this person didn't care I mean I'm spending 1000 on clubs help! But they felt to good. I'm going to try the ap2 again and the covert and make my decision Wednesday

That said, the Nike lefty love will begin in the fall, and I'm told that in 2015 virtually the entire line will be available in LH

You cannot go wrong with either set you choose. The CF will definitely be longer but that doesn't mean better.....

Covert Forged 7--DGS300 std specs
Covert 2.0 7--stock stiff std specs
(Not an exact match which did cause some discrepancies)

2.0 cast was about half a club longer for me and the launch angle was three or four degrees higher. 7 was carrying over 190 in the simulator. Dispersion was ok. I kept missing shots to the right when missed. Solid shots were a nice high draw.

CF 7 iron was carrying about 183 on avg (VRS forged is about a 170 carry on course when struck well in ideal conditions). Dispersion was much tighter. Launch angle was good, just lower than the cast head. Ball flight was a slight draw.

The CF feels very similar to my VRS forged irons. (Although the more I hit them, the more I think the CF would feel better than the VRS if they had my Nippon shafts in them). The 2.0 cast feel way better IMO than last years Coverts. I've tested my cousins 1.0s against the new 2.0s and it's not even close for me. 2.0s blow them away.

Thanks shakey. This is great. Is your normal miss to the right? I would expect someone with your swing speed to be pulling shots with this light of shaft, so I find that interesting.

Yes! It pretty much won in every category hands down. The effortless distance was unbelievable and the feel was very hard to describe. I loved the feel a lot, it's not a soft forged feel but a powerful explosive feel. The confidence they gave was what I liked the most. I could not miss the sweet spot no matter how hard I swung. These will not appeal to the purist but man do these perform in every category for me!

Anyone try these with DG Pro Shafts? Is that a stock shaft that stores are going to sell or just a free special order shaft?

I was able to hit these the other day and was extremely impressed. There's a very good chance that I'll be ordering the 3 iron a degree weak and the 4 iron 2 degrees weak to match the lofts of the pro combos.

Hit these today at a demo day. Inside a dome but wow I did not expect these to be so good. If I didn't already have the ap2s I would be getting these. Couldn't miss the center and they just went straight with an awesome feel. I now understand the love in this thread.

I feel like there is more feedback than the ap2s, but in a good way. Hard to explain, especially since I haven't been able to hit my ap2s much yet but the coverts just felt like they were bombed.
