It seems a heel/trailing edge/toe reliefs with low bounce.

Can anyone confirm is 7/18 still the date on these? Courses are starting to firm up around here, and the higher bounce MD2 options I have are starting to not be the best choices.

DDs told me end of July. They are not even taking preorders yet.

Seems like every date I hear is later and later (granted none of those dates came from Callaway, so it is what it is). I really had my hopes up at the 6/1 date posted earlier in the thread, then was slightly disappointed in the 7/18 date but no big deal. Now hearing the end of July is slightly disappointing. I really want one or two of these to round out my Mack Daddy 2 options with some lower bounce wedges for firm ground. By the time I'm able to get my hands on these, the weather here in Ohio will be back to soft conditions and I won't have any need for less bounce. I am anal about my wedges all matching, and without being able to put one or two of these in play now I think I'll just stick to Vokeys and revisit these when they are actually released. My short game has been my strength recently, so I have no idea why I am even looking for more wedges. Well, I know why, I just hate to admit it. I'm a ho...

Wow, this is exactly what I want in a wedge. I had my heart set on a Vokey SM5 58.08 M grind, would that be comparable to one of these (58.09 T)? And how do you think these T grinds will be out of the sand?

I had a low bounce wedge with a similar grind to this a number of years ago, and i loved it. worked well from the sand, and very versatile from anywhere else

I'd guess it will. Their wedges have been pretty consistent for a while now on pricing. Actually come to think of it,I can't remember much of anything changing for a few years other than the Big Bertha Alpha being $500

It's all in the front page story:

52° - 10° of bounce, 35.375” long, available in left hand
54° – 11° of bounce, 35.25” long, not available in left hand
56° – 11° of bounce, 35.25” long, available in left hand
58° – 9° of bounce, 35.125” long, available in left hand
60° – 9° of bounce, 35.125” long, available in left hand

I like the straighter leading edge, I think only Phil and Roger are big fans of the rounded leading edge, a la Wilson R-60.

How does the Tour Grind differ from the C Grind? Is it like the T to an M grind with Vokey? Similar crescent shaped relief with a wider, low bounce sole? Benefits?

Its my understanding that it is basically a C-grind with a straighter leading edge? I thought I would be getting the 58 in T, but now I think I'll go with the 54

I prefer looking at a straighter leading edge purely for cosmetic reasons and because I feel it's easier to align the club head to the target on full swings and straight faced pitches. That's really it. Just a looks preference thing. I don't like too rounded of a wedge otherwise they look "spooney" to me.

Agreed. Cally dropped the ball on this release date IMO.

I just don't know what one it will replace. Hit the 58 C grind great right now.
