I like the tungsten weight in the toes of the 3-6 irons for MOI in a 1020 carbon forged head. That and the muscle design of the 745 cb's are simply awesome. Could be a real winner here.

I think these are the best looking new irons that I have seen yet. Better than the Mizzy's and Callaway Apex MB by a long shot IMO.

took a long look at the 545's and 745's on the srixon japan website. comparing the spec's for loft, offset, etc., it seems the specs blend very well and would need little tweaking to make a fluid combo set. extremely interested in seeing these in person.

ZTX-2's have been one of my favorite sets of irons I've owned. Guessing the 745's will be fantastic too. No question look really great to me...would love a set. Thanks for pics.

And there's a really good chance I'll do that as well, I kinda like the added forgiveness, and now that I've had it for two years (X Hot Pros), I don't know if it would be good for me to go back to straight on blade low irons, though it's not like I mis-hit the 9/PW often.

It's like suit shopping. You'll always stop by the three-piece first because they look so darn classy. Then you realize, you know what...the two-piece looks mighty fine as well. Boom, combo set.

Haha, well it makes more sense now since I've never been a 3-piece suit kinda guy.
Anyways, my preference for keeping the 745's through the short irons isn't so much for forgiveness per se, but mainly due to a more likely wider sole and slightly greater bounce since I'm a digger, particularly more so in the short irons (and this is all just assumption until I actually get to see them in person).

Very J40 CB which is very i-506 looking as well. I tried the J40 but they couldn't kick the 506 out of my bag. I love my Srixon irons.

Found out these are going to be available some time in September. Local guy got to hit them and he said they were awesome. Similar in appearance to the J40 CB but shorter blade length. I will be ordering a set once available. Probably going 3-5 745 6-PW 945. Might do something with the utility iron in the 3-4 and 945 5-PW. I am excited to try them out to say the least!

Saw them in person today. Stock shaft is S300. Grip is a red Lamkin UTX. Stock shaft for the woods/hybrid is the Kuro Kage. Absolutely beautiful clubs. Fairway wood is the best looking one I've seen in a while. Very traditional and a perfect face depth.
