2014 GolfWRX The Open Fantasy Golf Contest!

It's that time of year again and GolfWRX is holding the 2014 The Open Contest. You have to be a registered member (Register here. It's free.) and logged in to pick your golfers. One entry per person. Users can choose Golfers only once. Picks must be made before midnight of start of tournament. 11:59 pm GMT +1, July 16, 2014.

Here are the Rules:

 

1. Click on >>>GWRXFAN<<< at the top of the Forum or click here.

 

2. Choose any 5 Golfers in the field.

Warning - entire field loaded. Amateurs get 0 dollars and some players may not show.

 

Here is how Winners are chosen.

 

1. Net Earnings

 

If Net Earnings are the same, then the system looks at:

 

2. Least Amount of Player Salary, the player's salary cap for the tournament. (Not Applicable in Master's Tournament)

 

If Least Amount of Player Salary is the same, then the system looks at:

 

3. Lowest Number of Picks by the user

 

If the lowest number of picks by the user is the same, then the system looks at:

 

4. The Earliest Timestamp of the user's last pick

So being 1 and done, you can't swap out guys after the contest closes before day 1, am I reading that right?

No changing between rounds. Choose 5 and done. Midnight means the day before day 1 starts you should have made your picks. That is before day 1 of the tournament.

When you click on the link provided up top, you will see a menu bar underneath the red bar. i.e. Main | Picks | Tournaments | Games | Help

Click on "Help"

Then click "Apply Filters"

Give it a second to load players. For me, clicking the "Apply Filter" button twice worked.

From there, you can select players.
