Maybe I am late to the party, but they make a ring for the shaft tips that lowers loft by 1/2 degree?! I would never be consistent enough to notice anything like that, but pretty cool that the pros get that stuff.

Beast mode!!! Playing 100 gram shaft in a 3 wood is one thing, but 90 gram shaft in driver is ridiculous. Wouldn't surprise me if his irons were weighted out to D5 or higher. Strong country boy.

I watched a bunch of players at Congressional in 2011, and for what it is worth, the sound at impact when Woodland hits a drive is significantly different from most of the other guys. He was playing with Ryan Palmer and Jeff Overton and those guys had nothing on him. Even compared to Bubba, Adam Scott, and Jason Day, some of the other long hitters I followed, you can tell the ball is just murdered. He's a pretty big dude and you can see him just "squat" into it, really compact, athletic move. Scott and Bubba were extremely impressive in their own right, because the way their drives launch it doesn't look quite as powerful, but they just don't come down. Jason Day's swing speed when you see it in person is pretty amazing, and he and Davis Love III had the coolest trajectories with the driver, looks like it's launching a fast, straight 45 degs up, peaks and just lands. Far out there. Anyways, I'm going OT here...

Agree. Watch these guys hit at Augusta during live or practice rounds it's incredible. But some have a different gear.

Thanks for posting puppet, that cavity seems awfully shallow, wonder how much the head weight is. Closest Ill get to this is the new Ping TR 1966 putter.
