Dang, that Oil Can is gorgeous! Is it typical for them to come out that dark sometimes or is that a matter of how you guys do it?

Dang, that Oil Can is gorgeous! Is it typical for them to come out that dark sometimes or is that a matter of how you guys do it?

It really depends on the metal to be honest. All the carbon putters we do that way we heat up the same way to the same temperature and sometimes they come out that dark and sometimes a little closer to the oil can from the older titleist wedges if you remember that.

 

As far as the M2 Goes. If just the white gets done it is 50 dollars plus the shipping back to you.

Hey everyone here is the M2 Driver that we removed the black from the face sole.

 

Wonderful work! I had a question about the re-finishing on M1's. Are you able to make the sole 2 tone (some areas blasted and some shined) like it is on the USA special edition? I have an M1 that I would like the sole done this way and the face stripped but shiny (not blasted). Not looking to change any colors or anything as I prefer the black and white.

We would have to refinish the wood when we do a polished sole. We could get it in the same ball park but it won't look exactly like this. It will have a polished/blasted combo like it has. Thanks

On all of the pictures of the clubs that have been done in matte grey it looks like the carbon has a matte finish too. Is that so? I like it but I can't tell if it's just the angle of the picture or if the carbon is actually matted too. Thanks

Yes the carbon will be clear coated in the same finish as the paint. If you don't do this you would have a break line in the paint from gloss to matte and it won't look great.

Would taking off the black color on the face of a fairway wood (m2) get rid of some of the scratches from sandy soil?

If we removed the black off the face of the wood it would clean up all scratches like that no problem, just no rock dings. Thanks

Im really stoked his my driver turned out, thanks Continental! Already a handful of comments about the work, especially the spacePort. It matches the Speeder 661 shaft pretty great too!

The face is no problem to brush but the sole with the cavities it wouldn't look great on most woods that aren't pretty smooth on the sole
