Was anyone able to compare the VFP irons to the JPX 900 forged by chance? I know there was only a brief window of overlap availability

I have the M2 driver and 3 wood as well as a SC Golo 5r. Testing a M1 hybrid. But the irons and wedges are still Nike and will be for as long as possible. No need to change the VPCs or Engages. They are too good to ditch.

 

The M2 3 wood might not stay. I debated 15 vs 16.5 for two days before ordering. Went 15 and have to work to hard to hit shots off the ground. Off the tee...Beast. Either going to sell and order a 16.5 or just go back to my Vapor Fly 17. It worked fine..not sure why i changed at all.

 

No question about the driver though...its just better.

Not exactly what you're looking for but I compared the 900 Tours to the VPC's. Let me know if you want a more detailed write up. Liked the Tours but no need to change from the VPC's other than looks at address. Actually ended up buying a cheap set of MP-67's off the bay for $200 and will be playing blades from now on.

One of the guys I work with wanted the Fly Pros and never got them. He's leaning toward the 900 Forged. He said he's seeing similar distance and trajectory numbers between the two on our simulator.

 

I've hit the 900 Tours a good bit. VPCs are way more forgiving and give me better numbers across the board.

Makes sense since they said you can download your scores, if they were going to have golf tracking in the nike+ app you'd probably just automatically roll everything into there.

The NG360 app was just so damn simple. I wish I could just use it in it's current state forever. I don't enjoy having my phone out during a round and NG360 was the best app I used to sit down after a round and have a beer and plug my scores in quickly and easily.

Guys....These are/feel amazing!

 

They fit a little big larger length wise than my FI's/LC3 etc but soooo light and comfy! Normally a 10.5 but in these I really need a 10.25.

 

 

Totally going to pick up the RIO color way when they drop to cheapness.

From my knowledge Nike has really tried to cut down on their IT department recently. For years they essentially didn't even have an IT department on campus.

probably any type of server side saves. so if you ever delete the app from your phone or change phones you'll lose all of that info whenever they shut the servers off.

Same here! Can't justify spending hundreds more for other brands that may or may not be marginally better. Only club I would love to get my hands on is the M2 driver but considering I got my VFP driver for like ~$135 USD, the slight distance gain isn't worth the 2-3x price tag.

Only switched driver to the M2. All other clubs are Nike. Have enough engages and golf balls to last a while. Might try to find a backup 3HL. That thing is money for me.

Not exactly what you asked, but I had the Vapor Fly (non-pro) and switched to the M2. I've only been able to play 27 holes with it, but I'm seeing about 10 yds more total. Goods shots are much higher which is what I was hoping for.

I actually have switched BACK to nike since the change. lol. My irons will be VFP, then VPC for the next 2 years since i have invested in both. I had recently changed to Titliest woods and irons beggining of the Summer. Only nike driver i think i want to try is the Vapor Flex 440, due to asthetics. Otherwise i think Titliest and Taylor Mades will be the only other woods in my bag ever. And Mizuno, Cleveland, or Titleist wedges.

 

Last nike wedges i liked and had were the VR with the Xrex grooves or whatever. Are these engage wedges really all that and a bag of chips with the dip? I absolutely hate how they look lol
