Don't tell the wife, but I think I'm in love....with these MachSpeed Forged irons I scored off ebay last week. They fit right in with the Japanese version MachSpeed Driver and 3 Wood I already had. Originally envisioned them as just a collector's item for the mancave, but after taking them out for a spin the past couple of days, I've reconsidered. Yes, I realize the VRS Forged are very similar, but these are so buttery smooth that I have to give them a shot.

Debating between the Modus 3 and KBS Tour for shaft replacements. Probably going with the KBS since they're also in my current VPC irons.

I will when I can hit it more. I only got to hit it 4-5 times on the course. Only hit one good 3-wood off the tee on a short par 4.

The others shots were all crappy. Haha.

Maybe I can hit it inside with a launch monitor or something.

When I first saw this post, I thought those irons were god awful. After scrolling past it a ton of times now, and always taking a second to look, I changed my mind, those are some nice looking irons!

I hit the vapor pros the other day looking for my new set of clubs. Hit a 7i and was putting it out about 170 on a indoor monitor.
Now 170 is a long 7i for me and I'm thinking the lofts are a little stronger than my current set of VR pros from 2010-11ish can't remember even when guys here tell me what year they are from lol.
I will say I found my set! I was hitting it with a PX shaft and not my PX Pxi but I'm sure they will feel just as good if not better.
Lowered my scores this year by maybe 6-8 strokes and even had a couple of rounds even or under par. Time to upgrade to a better set! Hope Xmas is good to me this year! I need everything from driver, 3&5 wood, and 3-pw. So hurry up Nike and release the new stuff so I can get it all!!

i recently quit working for nike as a demo tech/fitting rep b/c of the complete and udder lack of organization, communication and overall sh*t show that is nike golf.

the equipment is great - but the company (at least here in the NYC/NJ metro area) is getting misrepresented and losing customers/accounts due to the incompetence of the regional sales rep.

she doesn't know what she's doing and i've had multiple pros at different country clubs tell me they will no longer have an account with nike due to the above issues. one country club said they were sent stuff they didn't order, couldn't get custom orders completed on time, lack of communication, etc.

it's sad really.



the boys here have better connections than i did...and i worked for em.

We have good connections down here but as of late and by late I mean the past few weeks they all somehow went ice cold on us and don't respond at all so back to talking to the inside sales reps

That's the "Sport Lite GG Carry" (Green Grass). It's the the Sport Lite designed for cresting with club logos, team names/logos etc. Available in black, white, grey, red, blue, and green.

VPCs are in! Bag is all Nike and this is the happiest I've been with my equipment for awhile! Swoosh game strong.
