Just received this yesterday...

 

An unreleased Byron Design HB-15. Only six heads were made (I believe for his Asian market) and this is the only one I have seen.

Its a modified DH89 head to have a thicker face and shallow pocket to keep head weight at 350g since a double bend shaft is being used.

Mystic finish, blank sole, site line and some simple stamping make this a very clean putter. Tuna milling and the thicker face provides for a

softer feel and muted sound which I love. It is face balanced and 35" which is also good for my putting stroke (whatever that may be). Below

are pictures i'm using from Finalist as I have not taken my own yet. It is still wrapped in plastic as its too cold up here in CT for me to play.

Redwood D66 putter that I sent to LaMont for some custom work.

- plumbers neck cut off and replaced with a welded goose/flow neck (similar to Byron's Rincon style)

- tungsten weight inserts added to the face

- deep face milling (even on the tungsten weights)

- chocolate torched/toast finish (a beautiful antique look)
