I don't think any of the Vapor line was Endo forged. From what I remember being told, the Vapor line was forged at a new forging house that was better than the one previously used.

That's a shame the only thing wrong with the old endo VPC was the lack of distance. Feel was on par with the best of them.

The covert forged had stronger lofts. I tried them and it really screwed with my gaps. They go too far. I do however enjoy the 3 iron that I just added to my bag

Nike made it sound like the switch was a good thing, so I'm not sure it's a negative. I think Endo does forgings for a lot of different OEM's it sounded like the switch allowed for better quality control and other things.

I have a combo set...vapor pro combos 4-7 and vapor pro blades 8-pw. Honestly...still undecided on them. Just reshafted with KBS Tour shafts. Honestly...I hit my Vr Pro Combos from 4 years ago a bit more consistent and further for some reason. The vapor pro blades feel good. But one time I am 20 yards short...the next time 20 yards long with my VPC irons. Distance just not consistent. May end up selling them and just going back to my old pro combo irons since it sounds like volt is going bye bye.

I played a round with my old pro combos, circa 2011. Man they are sweet clubs to hit flush. I don't notice a huge distance gap between the two. And honestly I don't think the vpc are all that much easier to hit.

I feel ya. I'm pretty happy with most of my bag right now. Driver, irons, and wedges will be tough to knock out. 3 wood is a constant search so I'm excited for what's to come there. Maybe a 3 hybrid. Hoping for a retail milled Rory style 006 as well.

Thats why the trusty Ping Rapture is still in the bag surrounded by swooshes. 3 woods are fickle like that, I just picked up the vapor speed 3H after using an Adams Pro and DHY for a while and love it

my bag has changed a bit but, i'm keeping the vapor flex 3w till the head falls off...even then i'll probably replace it. i've grown so accustomed to the feel and performance of it that it's earned it's place. 3w's are fickle creatures - finding one has been an arduous and expensive task.

the driver is gone tho -- irons are gone...the wedges remain as well as they're some of those most solid wedges i've had in quite awhile. head feels solid/firm and can get through anything. the DS 60* gets through rough like butter and outta bunkers with ease. solid solid wedges this year.

thats what happens win you hit a blade not consistent in the sweet spot. vpc shouldn't be as bad, i can feel if I'm not hitting in the middle. of course the vrpc will go further and feel more consistent. there forgiveness is more the the vp. vpc & vrpc faces are lil bigger then the vp - vrp so the vpc and vrpc are going to carry lil more and forgiving. but honestly it's not the clubs at all, it's the really the person who is hitting them. lot of the time people get the vp to vpc and hate them cause they can't hit em far enough, pretty much jus buying them cause they look cool.

I'll be getting 1 pair of LC4 ids but think this is a much better swoosh placement. Really stands out and gets it out from under the pant leg. Cool looking football cleat!

Never played Nike before the VPCs and I like them a lot. My only complaint is the PVD part on the 7 and A wedge is wearing, and it's only those 2. Also the demo day I went to at a grass range and hit the irons had no shaft selections like DGPRO, Regular DGs and some lightweight shaft. I went with DGPRO and I think it's the best for me but I would have liked to try some other things. Basically next year Nike needs to give the demo guys more stuff.

I would contact Nike Customer service. I would imagine they will replace those showing wear. I know the intention was for the PVD to not show any wear at all. Mine certainly does not.

Somebody in the deal or no deal forum said they'll replace the clubs with pvd wear but they will send replacements with serial numbers that don't match the rest of your set if that matters to you at all

Yes I know all about what happens when you don't hit the blade in the sweet spot and I too can feel when I am not hitting it in the middle. I hit my old blades better than my new. I think personally the VPC's spin too much for me personally. So it can't be the clubs at all huh? Ok. We'll go with that... And no I didn't just get them to "look cool" as you stated. All I was saying was that I don't hit them as far as my 4 year old Vr Pro Combos. Never said I played bad with them. Was honestly checking to see if anyone else had feedback or if people noticed the same thing.

I have a mix of the VPC and VP. When I got them I just had the stock DG pro shaft and hated it. Very inconsistent distances. Re shafted with my Project X flighted shafts I had on my VR Pro irons and could not be happier

I just installed KBS tour shafts in my VPC and vp blades. We shall see. I had dg x100 in them before...then s300 like the shafts that are in my Vr pro ones.
