well nice day today to a nice Vapor Fly Pro head to put onto my HZRDUS Black

 

and a couple dozen balls since i was running out... plus when you put with one vs last years black wow they feel better on the origin head....

 

why would anyone really want the extra spin on the dot balls???

 

I have the exact same setup, 75g @ 6.5 tipped 1/2". It's a beast

thats exactly what my HZRDUS is too... loved it on the Vapor Pro but as soon as the black Fly Pro came out and some heads were going i couldn't resist...

 

funny friend hit my Vapor Pro with it in this morning and couldnt get it off the deck....

I still think last year's Tour Legacy Mesh caps are the best fit I've found. I tried the classic 99 this year and it sits too high and seems a bit larger. I normally wear L/XL but dropped down to a M/L for the True Statement flstbill and I'm really happy with it. It doesn't sit too high and is a better fit than the L/XLs I tried. This year's 91 mesh seem to fit larger and a bit higher in the crown than last year's Tour Legacy. Plus, none of them have the RZN and VAPOR logos, so while some may like the more minimalist look I have to count points off for it.

This week's shipment. Ocean Fog all day. Although I think I'm pretty set on returning the TW zip. Some product photos made it look like the body was a pretty dark heather but I like the color on the engineered zip way better. Love the Perf IV cart bag! The TW15s are replacements for mine that busted Tuesday night. Clothes pic is out of focus, got the photo yips.

 

This years engineered zip is a huge improvement over last years. They don't seem to be using the dri fit material in the body and were more generous with the length. Just feels like a higher quality product overall.

It's amazing. Has a pocket for literally everything I need and then some. The look was something I had to have too, pinstriping with a subtle camo motif and hints of blue? Sign me up!

Black VFP is sold out on NDC, and someone posted it on ebay for $1000 a few days ago...not gonna pay that much for that when I can hit 270-300 with my current vapor pro.

And I got my LC4 replacement today. I can't wait to wear it on the course again!

Wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the platinum dot ball? I put it in play yesterday and for some reason, the ball sounds and felt very different coming off the face. Almost sounded hollow and didn't have that flush feel to it. I did try 3 different balls, with different numbering to be sure.

I'm not sure if got a bad bunch or of this version of the ball just wasn't for me.

on the back 9 I changed to platinum and that ball was fine.

Has anyone else had any issue either dot version?

I played 9 holes yesterday evening with the rzn.platinum. I have been using the regular platinum for the last several months and absolutely love it. Honestly I couldn't tell much of a difference between it and the regular platinum, which doesn't bother me at all. I'm playing 18 this weekend and that will be a better test.

 

With the PGA Tour in town this week I saw and spoke with a couple of the Nike ball engineers. Confirming whats been posted about the RZN.Platinum ball; it is designed to spin a little more and have a slightly softer cover than the RZN Tour Platinum. They didn't provide a durometer number in the cover differences or an exact spin difference. I'm sure the spin delta would be relative to your club delivery.
